@huntjul I'm sorry, I don't mean to make you feel bad. Honestly. It's all light-hearted. But being that you have a history of posting bragplaints, I couldn't help but joke with you a little bit. ;;)
@rsigler I accept your apology. However I'm not sure the best time to joke is when I'm admitting that I'm so stressed out and overworked that I'm not eating or sleeping, can't adequately feed my hungry baby, and I'm in a self admitted "downward spiral".
Thank you @jgslr for the tips - I'm still a little scared to dip into the stash but may anyway. I will definitely do the oatmeal. Hopefully it helps!
The thing is, you can adequately feed your hungry baby. You have a freezer stash.
@beernifer they are called rash guards because surfers wear them to protect from a board rash, but I guess the name still carries to babies because they look the same. #iknowallthethingstoday
I have Skye's 9 month appt AND Owen's year year appt at the same time thinking kill two birds with one stone. WTAF was I thinking!?!?
FFFC: I'm stupid.
At least she won't get shots!
Do they not do shots at 9 months? I called the office asking, and the receptionist didn't know, but didn't think they did...but all my friends said they do...

This is bananas. You need some perspective on your 'problem'. You most definitely CAN feed your baby. Your baby is happy, healthy and thriving. You are going through a dip in your oversupply, it may be able to get back up to speed soon. Eat a healthy diet, pump at night after she goes to bed, drink lots of water, beer helps too, etc. You have a stash you can dip into in the meantime, so you don't even need to supplement with formula. Even if you did have to supplement, trust me, it's not the end of the world. Your baby will still be happy and healthy. Your problem is extremely solvable. Your stress is making it worse so try not to stress. Best of luck.
I just think this is funny.. the other night I was sleeping and my FI came to bed and I was sleep talking and I asked him to lick the envelopes 3x. What envelopes!!?
I pumped and pumped so I would have a freezer stash... But my baby won't take a bottle so it's just going to waste... I tried to donate it, but they won't take it because my baby is over 6 months. So I just feel guilty about it and haven't been away from my baby for more than an hour and a half in 9 months.
have you tried it in a sippy cup or cup with a straw? You could always use it for other things, too. Like mixing it in with purees or oatmeal/cereal. Or make some face lotion for yourself with it. lol I just made that last one up, but I'm sure someone's probably tried it at some point.
She just figured out straws like this week, I should try it. Thanks! I do mix it in with cereal, but I use like a tablespoon. I thought about making so BM ice cream for her. One of my friends just did and said it was amazing.

@Snowboarderbritt Donate it on your states Human Milk for Human Babies Facebook page.
My fffc stems from an UO yesterday: i always thought the products made by Summers Eve were to rectify a downstairs issue/ for women who NEEDED freshening up.

have you tried local moms groups? that's what i use because i'm too lazy to go through the official process through HM4HB.

I officially quit pumping on the 4th of July...
Confession - a voice in my head might have said something like: "#igivenofucksLC#'s"
This past week has been amazing. I have so much more time for activities and DS doesn't spit up anymore. Woot!
I am also on team 'my baby spits up MUCH less now that he's on formula'. Weird, huh. Maybe he was sensitive to something in my diet. ::shrugs::
@carriet2018 I don't care about the leadership board either because I'm mobile so I have no clue who is on it, but more so I highly dislike parenting board. I wasn't going to say anything because I don't feel like starting a war, but you're red highlighted post forced my hands to type it.
I liked the leader board hysteria (sorry @carriet2018). This place has been so much more active this week. I'm never going to get caught up, but at least I'll have some entertainment while I try.
Also @huntjul - I have been where you are except, I never had an oversupply or a stash. I ended up supplementing. I still do and even though these feeding problems can be solved, I understand that the problem is more of a mental problem. I shed tears and tears the first time he drank a bottle if formula because I could "just see" that breastfeeding was coming to an end. Too many tears on my part, and although my baby was still being fed and was happy and content, I still mourned for something that I wanted my body to do. Is it wasted tears, perhaps. But it was a very big deal to me, even if it wasn't that big of a deal. I can understand your stress and frustration, so hugs on that front. I think a lot of our stress comes from ourselves, the pressures and burdens we put on our shoulders, the expectations that we demand of our selves. I encourage you to think of all that you have accomplished, all that your body has done, rather than think about any perceived shortcomings. Dip into your stash, add a couple extra pumping sessions while she takes a bottle. Add oatmeal to your diet, I found mothers milk tea to be helpful, but I had to mix it with a hot apple cider drink mix. Try to relax and enjoy your baby.
@huntjul
Use your stash, that's what it's for! You won't produce more if you're all stressed about it and stressed with work on top of it. Stress is a mf, maybe try adding lots of healthy high calorie snacks? Avocado, pb, walnuts, etc. Also eat oatmeal with 1 or 2 TB flaxmeal sprinkled on every morning, this helped me a lot.
Eta: I'd make a huge pot of regular oatmeal for the week and refrigerate. I'd add a splash of milk, nuke it, and then add the flax right before eating it. Easy peasy, you could even do it at work.

hahaha i liked it minus the parenting weirdness, i just made an announcement that i bet 6 ppl would post in FFFC and say that they didnt care for it. i will not lose this bet!
~~~~stupidbrokenquotes~~~~~~~~~ I even liked the parenting weirdness. I've been busy this week so I wasn't able to play but my llama will take what drama she can get, even if it isn't fresh. Sorry I can't be of help with your bet
Hmmmm I feel like they held off on something because she was so small. #t&pplease
I was told DD wouldn't have shots at 9 months. She was 5 pounds at birth. Maybe your doctor is pacing them out differently. I always ask for a copy of what was done and it lists when each shot is due next.
I blame the leaderboard for my current deviant behavior. I was on it for like 2 seconds when I did my AMA and now look at me. I drive without my mutheffing headlights on. Sometimes I don't even stop for the full three seconds at a stop sign. And two days ago, I took one sleeping pill before I went to bed. It's freaking crazy man. I need an intervention. My life is spiraling out of control.
~~incaseofbrokenquotesinsertdivider~~ Some people just can't handle the fame. We're going to need a better role model for all the young bumpies to look up to...
Well I didn't care for it. It ended with some parenting stranger drinking vodka with me in my flat. We shared love-tits. LOVE-TITS! I didn't even ask her how many people she had love-titted before me. For all I know, she could be a love-tit whore.
~~whyalwayswiththebrokenquotes~~ That is because you have gone off the deep end after your brush with bumpfame. I hope that your one night stand with parenting strangers wasn't the one love tit too many that turns you from okay to slut. YOU HAVE TO STAY BELOW THE MAGIC MYSTERY NUMBER!!
eta I guess this is one for @carriet2018's bet though!
I seriously just tried playing fetch with DD2. I took something she wanted and threw it away from me hoping she'd crawl after it so I could get the space to finish organizing DD1's clothes (she was seriously all up in my biz). It wasn't until after I did it that I realized I was essentially playing fetch with her.
The worst part? It didn't work so I tried it with a few more things. It still didn't work. So I had DD1 call her hoping she would go to her.
@jgslr@layali@huntjul sorry---flax seed on oatmeal doesn't work well, because flax is an extremely hard shelled....seed thing. it usually passes right through your system...it works better when it's ground up so that your body can actually process it. put it in smoothies, if you want to up your flax intake.
@huntjul i also had OS, and ended up supplementing for my dd when i got pregnant..she was over 1, so it's a little different...but i know what you mean. dipping into freezer stash is scary. good luck. PM me if you want.
yes! the original suggestion was "you could do it at work" though...so that makes it more difficult. unless i suppose you grind it first, bring it to work..i guess that works.
My baby wouldn't allow such nonsense as bottles.
