I've been posting a week or so, & I quite enjoy how the regulars act. They're blunt, vulgar, sometimes harsh - but life isn't fair & sometimes people just need a smack on the head anyway. It's quite refreshing actually. We are all adults, we can handle some no-bullshit, no-nonsense conversations. Life is on the internet, or the internet is life, in the sense that if you can't handle it, you shouldn't be on it. - I think that makes sense - Maybe it's just my prior military life, in all its vulgar glory, but the things I've heard soldiers say, moreso men, make what these ladies say look like rainbows & glitter.

And now I'll go back to lurking.

@bakedolive, I do recognize your SN, which just means I've noticed/read your posts, I feel like you were one of the sweet WTO/2TWW posters (but I could be wrong). I'm kinda confused on the style of quitting. I would expect someone saying that "the internet isnt life" would just make a post about life getting a bit hectic and no longer being active on TB. But oh well.

It says pretty clearly in the newbie blog we all are told to read "You get support if you give support". I have actually made a pretty big effort to keep that in mind while Im here, as I don't expect it from anyone if Im not willing to give it.

Every websites underlying goal is ad revenue. But that clearly isn't the sole purpose or no one would use it.

And yes, I am a newb. God forbid. But, as I said before, I really am making an effort to give more than I expect to get from this board. I came here because I have been trying alone for a year, and needed to find some like minded women who knew what it meant to TTC.

Something about someone possibly on the breastfeeding board getting banned. Either they were for the person getting banned, or against it. I'm not sure which. But they felt it was mod abuse and were obviously very pissed off about it.
This is why I wish they had just named names and let everyone know wtf was happening. If someone's being douchey and abusing their power, they need to be checked.

BGB did name names though, it was veiled but she named the mod.

But my big eyeball siggy is back, and that was from the very first TTGP photo challenge, which she started - (which I'm totally going to resurrect because it's summer and it's slow!)
