    *lurky lurk* @caseys02 *tw cancer*
i'm so glad you got those photos and video footage. *hug.* my mom was diagnosed 3.5 years ago with metastatic bile duct cancer. she's by some miracle almost 3 years past the prognosis she originally received, but it is still a monstrous beast that never entirely lets us breath free, even for a day. anyway sending you i dunno what. solidarity.

    edited for dumb spacing.

    History
I am doing this on my own. Left ovary and fallopian tube removed due to cyst/necrosis just after birth. Right ovary and tube still purport to function.
Began TTC in Aug '18 @ age 35
5 or 6 (or 7?!) cycles using frozen donor sperm, ICI. All BFN
    Mar-Jun '19 IUIs, all BFN
Began process of referral for RE in spring of '19, blood tests confirm low AMH (.54) but all else is good.
May '19 HSG shows open tube, but ultrasound suggests fibroids
MRI in June '19 confirms two large fibroids, one growing through wall of uterus
In June '19 I move from California to Oregon, disrupting my insurance, referrals, etc. 5 months spent piecing it all back together.
Nov. '19 attempted myomectomy (vaginal approach) failed. 2nd surgery using laparoscopic method in Jan '20 is successful.
April '20 --> June '20, natural IUIs, all BFN.
July? saline ultrasound and bubble test demonstrate open tube
July '20 clomid cycle cancelled for thin lining
Aug-Oct, 3 femara cycles, all BFN
RE referral. While waiting to set up an appointment Nov-Jan,I continue with natural cycles and ICI, using a known donor, BFN...
Jan '21 more bloodwork, AMH is worse (.30), FSH high albeit not catastrophic at 13.2. hysteroscopy all good. "looks cozy!" says the RE.
Feb '21, injectables (menopur, novarel), iui, BFN (doc said the frozen donor sperm sample had the "best numbers she'd ever seen!")
Mar '21, injectables, iui cancelled due to lack of follicles, converted to at home-insem. BFN
May '21, first IVF round cancelled due to cyst.
July '21 IVF: standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 7; 6 days of stims. 8 eggs retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilize, 4 made it to blast. 3 are 4AB, 1 is 4BB. PGT-A results all abnormal.
Oct '21 somewhat improved AMH (.51) and significantly improved FSH (8.9). Maybe it's all the pills I swallow.
    Dec -21, standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 5; 11 days of stims. retrieval yields 5, 4M, 2 reach day-6 blast (4AB & 4BB). 1 low-level mosaic (chr. 3 deletion), 1 complex abnormal.
Feb '22 FET (low-level mosaic): CP.
May '22 egg retrieval, lupron flare protocol. HGH priming for 1 month before stims; md lupron 20/20u daily; menopur 225, follistim 225, 10k trigger after 8 days of stims; AFC 10; 13 retrieved; 10 mature; 8 fertilized. All frozen at 2PN for later thaw, grow, and biopsy.
July '22 egg retrieval same protocol: 9 days of stims; AFC 8; 10 retrieved, 8 mature, 4 fertilized and frozen.
Sept '22 ER same protocol: AFC 10; 12 retrieved, 11 mature, 11 fertilized.
From the 3 retrievals, 7 survived to day 5-6 blastocyst, from which I have 2 normal embryos!
Jan 20, Fully medicated FET, baby aspirin, dexamethasone, acupuncture, and as much woo as I can stand (which isn't very much). BFN.
July 23, Natural FET + baby aspirin. BFN.
  • Month/Cycle: 16/13

    Typical LP length: 11 days

    Testing: next Friday

R/R: ew it's gross out. Luckily not icy yet for my morning drive, hopefully it's the same for my evening drive. I brought homework reading with me in anticipation of this being a very slow 8 hour shift with the crappy weather.

CS/Q: FF still has no idea what to do with me this month. Trying different detectors and discarding/not discarding the temps the days I had a warm room gives me 3 separate CH days, none of which being where I actually think they should be lol. Guess we'll find out when/if I get my period.

  • @caseys02 hugs for you on a rough day
  • *still lurking because that's what kind of morning i'm having*
@fantasyflyte if you'll excuse me in really reaching to find an upside to your crappy luck on the IUI front this month, it would be that if you'd had your IUI this cycle the level of anxiety about what day O was would be cranked all the way up to 11 because yeah, that's a funky chart. sunday seems super plausible though!

I edited my first post for a tw and @optimistgardener giant giant hugs. I know the feeling of being past the time of what they said we had with them but still dealing with the beast. solidarity is a wonderful term.

  • @optimistgardener yeah, I was thinking the same. If this cycle isn't the one, I think I'm going to ask for either a trigger shot or monitoring the day of or something to make sure we don't mess up the timing. My insurance only covers 3 IUI so I don't want to waste one with bad timing.
  • @caseys02 Sending you lots of hugs today. Also, I'm sorry you're stuck at the office solo. I hope you can get what you need to do done!

@fantasyflyte I second what optimist said about the anxiety. I hate not being sure about O so I'm sorry you're having such an unclear cycle. Sounds like the trigger or monitoring is the way to go next month, if you need it.

    Month/Cycle: 6/6 (sigh)

    CD/DPO: 24/9

    Timing: -3, -2, -1

    Typical LP length: 11-12

Testing: Who knows. No plans for now.

R/R: I got absolutely drenched this morning. Drowned rat drenched. I looked like I went for a swim. Thankfully I am all dried out now and it's sunny so this afternoon's cycle should be nicer. There is nothing worse than foggy, rain-splattered glasses while trying to ride a bike 😂 On the plus side, the 6 Nations Rugby starts tomorrow so I will be thoroughly enjoying watching Scotland v England. It's so nice to have sports again. (Still bitter I missed all the awesome NFL games the last few weekends).

    CS/Q: Nope.

@caseys02 Sending you a big hug today.
@fantasyflyte I hope the ice stays away for your drive home! We got some last night, but not as much as anticipated.
@Paturkey Cycling in the rain sounds miserable. Glad you are dry and warm now!

    Month/Cycle: 6/5 AL
    CD/DPO: 23/9
    Timing: good
Typical LP length: 12 + progesterone
    Testing: Monday
R/R: We didn't get as much ice as expected, but enough to shut most nonessential stuff down and keep us home for the day. Anytime I'm home I'm less good about checking in, but I'll try to pop back in later. We got a used piano recently that needs some repairs. I'm excited that they are coming to hopefully get it fixed up next week!
    CS/Q: Nope

@caseys02 big, big hug your way. I’m so glad, as hard as they can be to see, that you have photos and videos to remember.
