pll discussion

I missed bits and pieces of last night's episode thanks to a crazy 2 year old who refuses to go to sleep at a decent time. So I might need y'all to fill me in some.

1. So, is everyone with Spencer thinking her dad is a murderer? And why the hell haven't they dug up the body of the girl in Ali's grave to see who she is? They know it's not Ali in there, so WTF?!

2. Does anyone else think there's something weird about that new swimmer Emily is training? She just seems so off and suspicious.

3. What about the scar on Ali's thigh? How do you think she got it?

If PLL holds true to form, then Mr. H will not be Mrs. D's killer, since all roads point back to him.  With that said, I have no clue who else it could have been, other than maybe Mr. D, or whoever tried to kill Ali.  Also, I wonder if Mrs. H is really at a spa.  They sure made it seem like maybe Mr. H killed her off too.

I hope Hannah doesn't get busted for shoplifting, and I hope she doesn't start back doing that nonstop.  Maybe Caleb coming back next week will keep her from spiraling.

I think that the new swimmer girl is very shady, but I sure don't know what her angle is yet.  Paige is trying to worm her way back in, but at least she wasn't as annoying last night as she usually is.  And, I still don't understand Mona.  I am ready to find out exactly what her deal is with Ali.  There has to be more to it than just being called Loser Mona.

As far as Ali's scar...  I am still not convinced that Ali wasn't A at least at some point.  I don't trust anything that she has told the girls so far.  Weren't there a few times that A was hurt?  Maybe that could have been where the leg injury came from???  (For some reason, I'm thinking I remember someone getting stabbed in the leg a long time ago, maybe the Halloween train episode? I could be wrong)

Edited because I forgot:  Am I the only one that thought the online funeral was strange?  I am wondering if Shana isn't really dead, and that funeral was put online to make the girls believe she is dead.  I mean, wouldn't you think that the cops would have been asking questions around a dead girl's hometown/school if she was found dead in NY?

  • I noticed that too, Namaste.  Ali is shady, to say the least.  I think next week's episode is going to be good.

  • Did you guys find it weird when Ali texted one of the girls & almost stopped at "-A" before writing her name? What's the point of writing your name in a text? The person (especially good friends) probably have your name saved.
I've only watched about 15 minutes of the episode so far, but I did get to this part. I thought it was really weird.

Maybe they touched on this after I stopped watching, but why was Ali so adamant about not going to the doctor?

  • @namastebiotches - Gotcha. I'll finish the episode tonight. I just thought it was odd, and my first thought during the conversation with her dad went to "she's not really who she says she is" - which would point to the twin thing - otherwise, just suck it up and go to the doctor.

  • I think "spa" usually equals Radley!  I still want to know what Melissa's secret is.

And, I read somewhere that next week's episode should involve the girl in Ali's grave.  Plus, Caleb will be back. And Travis (We haven't seen him in a while).  Also read that we will see Mona's mother!?!

    I wish they'd do a 2 hr episode.

  • Ok, I finally finished the episode last night. I think someone in Spencer's family did kill Mrs. D - either her mom, her dad, or Melissa. All signs are pointing towards her dad, but that seems to easy. What if that's Melissa's secret? "Oh by the way, I killed Mrs. D and buried her in the backyard."

Ali seemed really upset during her checkup. It didn't seem to be anything super invasive since Hanna was sitting right there. I get that she didn't want him to know about the scar, but she seemed way to jumpy about the whole thing. She also could have came up with a better lie about the scar.

I hate how people never come out and say anything - like Paige telling Emily to be careful. She could have told her exactly what she was talking about without outing anyone's name. And Ali with her "once you know something, you can't unknow it" when she was talking to Hanna. Just tell her!

The funeral was completely weird. Do people actually do that? I kept waiting for Aria to notice something weird about the video which would show it was fake - but she never did.

I've read that we find out more about the girl in Ali's grave next week. I really hope that's true.

  • I'm going to say that the secret isn't about Mrs. D's death since she was still at the police station when Melissa told her dad.

Yep, everyone was alive at the police station when Melissa told her dad the secret.

Also, I found a pic of Aria stabbing someone on the Halloween Train.  Could this explain Ali's scar?

  • Oh, did anyone else think what Andrew said was a reference to Ali when he said "When they feel they're in danger, they play dead."?

  • Oh, I forgot about that!  Yes, I did think that it could be a reference to Ali. Or A, if A isn't Ali.

Ok, so I was way off! :) I had forgotten how that scene actually played out. Thanks for the reminder!
