Harper made it 3 hours in her crib before I brought her back downstairs to our room last night. I cant let her sleep up there for some reason WTH is wrong with me ?!
Anyways @wisconsincheese12 I love your headbands ( and you know I love headbands!). I wish I had time to make Harper's. But I don't

@DisneyAddict1 (i think it was you) regarding the woman at the shower poking your belly and recommending a wrap, you should have just poked her back and said "well when you're finished with it you can let me know if it worked."
@bjd316 I have this long sleeved onesie that is brand new. Let me know if you want it. It is 3-6 months, but looks a little on the bigger size. It says "Moms and Dads best present ever."
@bjd316 - I was going to recommend ebay as well - but it seems like you've gotten lots of offers :-) I have found all of DD1's Christmas dresses on ebay and they are super cute. They are much cheaper this time of year too!
I think we need a bitchfest thread for every day of the week... Mine for today is I just found out about MORE hospital bills. They weren't with the regular billing office, they were in a different one. I found out that we still owe $ because when I checked in for DD2's 4 month appointment yesterday, they told me I had a balance owed. So, when I called the billing office 2 times in the last month to make sure we were done paying for everything and they said we were... they were wrong. Yeah, definitely have $1600 worth of bills still to pay. So pissed.
My random is I need to read up on the 3 month sleep regression. Colton won't go to bed until at least 11pm but than he sleeps for up to 11 hours. Last night I didn't get him to bed until almost 1. Maybe he is a night owl like his dad?
On gma they said the average bridesmaid spends $1700. I think that's ridiculous.... If I was expected to spend that much I would definitely have to step out
Holy shish kabobs. That's insane. We let my bridesmaids pick whatever dress they wanted and my mom paid. I hate asking people to pay money. Which is why I'm miffed I have to pay $199 for a flower girl dress for my 4 year old. What 4 year old needs a custom made tulle ball gown? This thing is getting e-bayed the minute the wedding is over.

None of my bridesmaids spent that much. BUT there's some bridezillas out there that expect their maids to spend a significant amount of money .All my bridesmaids bought was their dress. I bought their jewelry as a gift and they just wore whatever shoes they wanted to. I've been in 3 weddings and have NEVER spent that much. AND if I would be expected to I would defiantly decline the invitation.

I have some dumb computer questions, may need the help of @Kacie b/c you are the computer whiz.
#1 how the hell do I get my pics on here to be right side up? I took a pic for HDBD with my phone and it always posts upside down. I even went back to the pic, edited it, rotated it, then posted and it is still upside down...WTF
#2 on FB how do I get writing on my pics?
#3 also on FB, how do I post 2 or 3 pics next to each other kinda like a collage??
@YANKEEPEACH08 .. I can answer # 2 ad #3 you have to download an app on your phone. Not sure what kind of phone you have but I have an iphone and for collages and writing on my pics I use diptic and instaframe.
Married : ** 09/09/2011 ** BFP : 07-18-13 ** Baby #1 is a GIRL , Born 03/12/14 **
Ridiculous about bridesmaids!! Where does all of it even go? I think I've spent under $500 for each of mine. Maybe they are counting the actual wedding gift as well?
@bunnyfungo - hospital bills suck. Childbirth is something they deal with every single day... why does it take so dang long to figure out how much you have to pay? It just stinks because they said those charges have been finalized for a couple months, but I never got a bill and when I called their billing dept they said all my accounts were paid in full. So, clever me decided to buy a new washer and dryer with the $ we had leftover. Oops.

thanks ladies...this is me and computers:
#1. Not sure. Sometimes mine post sideways, but I've found if I crop them at all, they usually post the right way. #2. I use 'TextaPic' (app on my iPhone) to add words. #3. I use 'PhotoCollage' (app on my iPhone) it allows several different configurations of collage type pics.
For one sister I spent; - $200 dress (doubled as my grad dress and formal dress later that year) - $30 shoes (practical) - hair do was free --- wedding at church, reception at a hall (2 attendants on each side)
For the other; - $25 for dress (she chose it - other bridesmaids paid $60, but I lived elsewhere and go it on clearance) - 25 for shoes (she chose practical so we could wear again) - $20 hair up-do - wedding and reception at a hall (7 attendants on each side)
For my own wedding; - I paid for MOH dress ($200) and had no bridesmaids - she bought her own shoes ($35) - she got her hair done ($15) - MY dress & shoes totalled $100 - wedding and reception in backyard, party at casino - I paid for hotel rooms, the above clothing as well as ties and shirts for the men, $100 for MOH and BestMan at casino each, and all food and decorations .... Cost $1000-1200
@YankeePeach08 1) I think this is a bump conundrum that has to do with the picture size. I have no idea why. I do know that if you upload a photo (it is sideways) then click the img and underneath is a link to "insert image" - it should load larger and upright into your post. 2/3) what they said.
He gets up between 7 and 9 am. Usually around 8, but there's a bit of a 'window'. Some days he won't nap, but I make him have quiet time in his room, lights out and put a Baby Einstein video on if he isn't sleepy. If he naps, it's usually not until 3 or 4 lately (used to be around 2) for about 2 hours.
He gets up between 5 & 6 pm. We eat supper at 7-ish. Bed between 9 and 10 pm.
I'm just floored that he takes such a late nap and still sleeps so well at night. (Or no nap at all, and isn't any more cranky than usual)
Just thought it was interesting how he survives... So different from Most LOs I've known.
ETA: just want to clarify I'm not talking about LO. Although LO has a very predictable easy schedule compared to DD or DS1 at the same age.
Trying out the @babycaps sleep routine. 10 minutes in and I hear nothing from the monitor. I feel like its the calm before the storm... I did have to search for the thread where it was all outlined so we started a little later than planned!
@caseinpoint those glasses look great on you! I tried a whole bunch of pairs on at warby parker this past winter and just couldn't find a any that fit right.
@Jt7dreamz that storm passed over my work and it was ridiculous! I hope you guys get power back so you can head out to Miami!
So I'm curious to hear what you guys think. I wore a floral dress to work a few weeks ago and a coworker commented on how nice it was. I thanked her, told her how much I loved it and told her where I got it. Fast forward to this Monday, she stops by to tell me she bought the same dress so now we will have to coordinate when we each wear it. It's a VERY specific floral dress and we work in a small office so it's going to be obvious that we have the same dress. I know I should take it as a compliment but I'm pissed! Is it out of line to be annoyed? I feel like this is part of girl code and you just shouldn't do this.
So who has babies that sleep through the night/only get up once?
How many hours of sleep do your babies go for overnight? Right now Layla goes down around 7:30 and gets up at 5:30ish. I'm wondering if an earlier bed time would help her sleep through the night more.

Harper was going down between 8-9 and sleeping until 5 when I get up to go to work. But the past week or so she wont even make it until 8 before passing out. And she sleeps until 5ish. She wakes up a few times during the night just for me to put her paci in .
Married : ** 09/09/2011 ** BFP : 07-18-13 ** Baby #1 is a GIRL , Born 03/12/14 **
Her internal clock seems to be broken -_- She was only getting up twice a night until about 2 weeks ago. Then it became 4 or 5 times a night. We're no longer getting that 5/6 hour stretch at night and I'm trying to find a way to get it back.
I have a clogged duct but luckily (insert sarcastic voice) both babies decided to get up multiple times to help me work it out! I think it is out but my boob is sooooooooo tender in that spot from me mashing it all night long. Also, I picked a white spot on my nipple thinking it was the clog trying to come out...nope, now I have a scab which feels fan-fucking-tastic when the babies latch on.
Also, my dad had knee surgery 2 days ago and MIL has texted me asking when it was, how it went, when he'll go home, blah blah, blah non-stop.
Did she ever ask how the boys' 4 month appt went....nope. Did she ever ask how Vincent's PT appt went yesterday...nope!

RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
Thank you an hour and a half and so far I have cried more than him but I do believe he is sound asleep for the night.
