Why do you think you're sometimes an insomniac like me?
Because I too can take an insane amount of pharmaceuticals that would put an elephant down, and I would still be awake... Lol
Follow up question: what's the most Ambien (or similar sleep-inducing product) you've taken in a single 24-hour period? Was it effective?

Before I started TTCing I used to take. 1 12.5 Ambien, 2mg Klonopin, 500 mg of Seroquel, and. 60mg of ... It's a med they give kids to help them sleep and not pee their pants. Can't remember the name. There have been nights I didn't sleep .
ETA - I soon realized that Im just an insomniac and falling asleep by 11pm will just never be in the cards for me. So I cut it all down to just Ambien and Klonopin on bad days. It's not worth killing your liver.

Yeah it was freaking ridiculous. Then add drugs I was taking for lupus. It was straight up crazy. I decided to virtually get off of everything. I still don't sleep, but I know my body is thanking me for it.

What made you decide to get a dachshund? Is Sophie your first? Would you get another dachshund in the future?
I was looking for a small rescue dog. My only criteria was that they got along with other animals; because I had a cat.
I posted an ad?looking for a dog, and Sophie's owners responded. They basically were gone 18 hours a day, and she ran around alone in their apartment and barked. So they had to get rid of her. She was 8 months old when I rescued her.
I love my dog, but there are a few things that make me think twice about getting another one.
1. She is a major drama queen. There is no correcting her behavior without her yelping like she was beat.
2. She is stubborn. I tell her no bark. She barks even quieter.
3. I also want to see how her health is as she gets older. She has had a lot of stomach issues. If her back goes bad I would probably stay away from getting another one.
She has a ton of positives too. She is amazing with D. She listens really well aside from woofing at noises and animals on the TV. She is my little cuddle bug!

I always loves camping with my Mom though. All the bad stuff didn't bug me so much when I was out camping with my Mom.
