Thoughts and prayers for poptart109 UPDATE

Hey ladies, This morning I got a message from @poptart109‌ that she went to L&D due to some pains she was having. At first they thought she was just dehydrated, but then her FFN came back positive.

She is receiving shots to develop baby's lungs and IV antibiotics. Earlier today, she told me she's slated to be in there until at least tomorrow. I haven't heard anything else since this morning.

So send her some thoughts and prayers that things go okay!

Aw, thanks guys

I'm here off and on. They were able to rule out infection so they're keeping tabs on me. My outer cervix is dilated, inner is not, so I was told that's good news. My contractions have slowed and my antibiotics were removed since I don't need them. Dr is fairly certain I'm being discharged tomorrow as long as I don't dilate or have cervical shortening between now and then (cervix was 3.2 and he seemed ok with that). I'll also be on bed rest until my regular check up on Thursday. After that he said we will re-assess my restrictions after another cervical check.

This has been a crazy weekend and totally unexpected. But at least I don't have to worry about pre-registering for the hospital, the L&D tour, or figuring out what to pack in hospital bag. Thanks again girls!
