I feel terrible though. I'm sure she's sitting there crying that her diapers suck so much and I'm sure she thought this was a great idea. I feel mean to have done this for a joke.

You should not feel bad. Just see the good thing the you did. It wasn't for you we really didn't know what kind of a diaper she is selling.

Don't feel bad! Sometimes people just really have no clue and they need a reality check! (I totally understand how you are feeling though!) you have done nothing wrong, and really you are doing her a favor if she doesn't get that plastic is a terrible idea!

I honestly don't think she uses cloth diapers. I almost asked if she uses these on her own kid, although I'm not sure she has one. I think this was somehow motivated by one of her friends or something and she thought it'd be a great idea.

Does anyone disagree with me that she is really just that clueless and this isn't actually meant to be a scam? (Although, I didn't see the original post or how she acted).

I agree. From her original post I got the feeling it's serious, and she just doesn't have a clue. I feel bad for her, but also don't want anyone to waste their money or even worse get hurt by her products.

Sorry @welly01 that I almost ruined your surprise! I had no idea that someone on this board had the balls to buy one of those awful things! Well done! You will go down in CD board history for sure. I can't believe that they are even worse than we thought. I was hoping they would at least be good materials that were just sewn bad. I just want to know how someone who obviously has almost zero knowledge of CDs wakes up one morning and decides that she should go into business making and selling them. I would go so far as to contact Etsy and let them know about her as a seller. I hate the idea of someone who is new to CDing not know any better and actually try to use one of these. Poor baby would probably get the worst. rash. ever.

So, I heard back from her. She requested the diaper back. I told her that I had already ripped open the diaper and I was not going to waste any more money to send it back to her. I asked her for a refund of $10 as a compromise, which she has done. She said she'll update the listing with more correct information but she is on "vacation" right now. I do not think she learned anything during this process.
