We got the cute striped hat when he was first born. After they took him for his initial assessment, they placed a knit hat made by elderly volunteers on him. We took pictures with it on him, it was so cute. Well later that day, he was getting his diaper changed, and peed all the way up on his hat! DH was so sad, the second knit hat we got wasn't as cute as the first one. At least we have pictures and a silly story to tell him!

I woke up in the middle of the night thinking I had 2 babies and was forgetting one of them. Weird!

I too have had the twin dream pp where I forgot that I had two babies and am confused about who needs to be fed. It's so stressful! My hats go off to all the mamas with twins. I can't even hack it in my dreams!

No appt thread so I am AWing. Was dilated 5 cm, almost fully effaced, at my "40 week" appt today...with bag of waters continuing to bulge out. The OB was actually impressed ("I have no idea how you are still pregnant"). She stripped my membranes for a second time and I think it is actually working ( @katburdette‌ ... I promise I'll text ya bitchin LB). Hoping these contractions keep getting closer and I can sneak a little nap in before hospital time!

That's funny... you singleton mamas dream about twins and this twin mama dreams about triplets lol. In my dreams there's always a third one I can't find and I panic ripping apart the room looking for her!

@ugabamafans ugh that's scary! Hopefully the pedi will help put your mind at ease. I've been a hermit and keeping the babies close to me since I keep hearing the vaccine isn't catching all whooping cough cases here

At his one month checkup LO gained 1 lb and 11 ounces since his last pedi appt two weeks ago. So much for the pedi and the nurse who told me I might have to supplement. Baby boy is officially a beast on the breast!
