@emilyh107, maybe she needs a little mommy and me time to recharge. If possible see if you can do something about just her and you. Paint nails while baby sleeps or something like that? She might be feeling left out or replaced.

I just cleaned all the surfaces in my kitchen and dining room and I did all the dishes. Charlie just fell asleep so now I'm going to vacuum and steam mop. Then a shower, lunch, and napping until my bil arrives. If dh doesn't say something appreciative about the clean state of our home when he gets back tonight I may just be raising my children from jail

The last few days have been super trying with LO and DH and I have been at each other's throats. I have to remember to take a minute, step back and appreciate what we have. This face is a nice reminder.

@elsa1688‌ just keep it clean and dry. Sometimes they take a bit to come off from what I read. As long as there's no sign of infection, it's probably okay

Total AW post of my precious Kennedy Shey who is back up to birth weight today! No more Dr visits until her 2 month physical!!! I totally cried (happy tears) when I saw the weight on the scale! This was her yesterday at 12 days old ♡

We bought a new car today! We could have made do with my old one, but it was uncomfortable because the front seat had to be all the way forward to fit the car seat in back. It's definitely an upgrade for me and is great to have a car that we both like to drive since it will be our main family car. I'm excited

C woke up with a giant snarl in her hair, the kind you just have to cut out...so she's gone from super cute corkscrew curls in the back to a little bob cut. Its cute, but I miss her curls!!

This has happened a few times to me when I called they said to lay down for 30 minutes and if you have a trickle run down your leg then you should go in and check. Well I've done this twice and even after 30 minutes I still had no idea what was going on but since it wasn't enough to soak my shoes then I tried to just keep an eye on it or wait for the big gush. I don't want to be in L&D every time I leak urine!

@hampire‌ - I had really really watery discharge that felt like it might be my water but it was a bit mucus-like and it wasn't hot. When I broke my water with DD1, it was just a trickle but it was really warm and kept trickling if I walked. This time, the watery mucus was vagina-temp. When my water broke at the hospital, it was very warm. Good luck!!!

I bought a K'Tan breeze using the size chart and stupid me didn't try it out when it arrived, I just washed it and put it away. Well now that LO is here, I tried it and it's too small. I don't have the original packaging to return it, do you think it would be easy to sell?

@lalala8‌ @nutmegs8‌ Thanks gals! I made it!! I just kept LO in the car seat in the big part of the buggy and he slept the whole time. It took me an hour and a half to get us both ready and we were only gone for like 30 minutes but it was such a confidence boost! I just ordered the k'tan and it's being delivered tomorrow, I think I'll try that out next time. I have the Ergo with newborn insert but I'm still a little clumsy getting it on and I'm not sure LO is comfortable in it, I'm hoping we have a little better luck with the k'tan and can use the Ergo when he's a little bit bigger.

My dad just told me he's staying all next week to help with the dog and when I get home from the hospital (if she doesn't come by Monday I will be induced). IM SO HAPPY! The dog loves him, and he'll be a big help the first weekend we're home with her. And he took me out to breakfast this morning too

So DH's explanation for the mucus plug is that the baby has allergies, hence the mucus. Bahahaha he was kidding but I found this hilarious, and prolly laughed more than I should have, this no sleep is making me looney!

Yay! My dr just came in to check on us. They are letting us leave a day early! We were supposed to be discharged Sunday (making this a 5-night stay) but I'm healing well and baby is great so we are breaking free tomorrow!
