Wow! I knew this post would end up like this. Haha! Glad you girls found someone else to pick on.
Hey @Sscarolynedvx , you belong in the dog house with me. Your goat & my horse can hug it out. It'll be ok. I got torched royally in the past for posting a topic about weight so I know better. I would never do that again among this group. Weight topics are too sensitive and will always be offending here.
It just may be a lunatic you're looking for...
You may be right.
But teachable moment: this could've been a place where you (alpha) could've added to the conversation. Even if you were going to tell us to lay off her, it would've been progress. But you made it about you. Again. Is this sinking in at all?
Lay off? You girls don't do that. Pointless to ask. No point beating a dead horse. Lol!
In the grand scheme of things, I believe all our children will grow up just fine. We as parents will make the best decisions for our kids and provide for them the best we can. Weight issues will pass. Weight and size don't reflect how healthy someone is. So what...your child is small. Doesn't mean they're sick or unhealthy. Healthy could come in all different shapes and sizes. I've experienced tiny preemie to chubby baby; it's all good.
I just think it's best to relax. Worrying too much about something like weight does no good. Not worth it. Like I said, just love & care for your kids the best you can.
Huh.... Well..... Hmmmm..... My LO is perfect in my eyes.... And seriously who gives a rats (or goats) ass what the other LOs weigh? My baby was 5 weeks early and still hit/ hitting milestones on time or early. Did I start a thread saying "my premie is smarter then your termie (made that word up)..... This is just dumb, glad your tits have super milk and your baby is large. My baby enjoys my average boobie milk and is growing just fine.. Good day to you!

Seriously?! Just because your tiny preemie and chubby baby are "good" does NOT mean that people don't have the right to worry about their babies sizes. I know it is REALLY hard for you to grasp but not everything is about you/can relate to your situation. I'm glad that your children haven't had problems related to their weight but that doesn't mean no other babies in the world could.

Would I get banned if I were to tell her to go fvck herself? Don't tell me or any other mother that has a child who has trouble gaining weight to "relax". I don't think I've ever been more pissed from a post on TB. Complete bullsh!t, go away alphaphi.
I mean... i think I would be a bad mom NOT to worry about my baby's weight gain. She doesn't eat well at all ( even tho on human formula). And its a pretty legitamit thing to be concerned about. Weight is one of the main things you actually should be concerned about with babies.
Like @Codypup and @vshumway (Hope I got the right tags) my LO has had weight issues too. I KNOW she is on the low end of the growth curve. I don't need a silly poll to tell me that! We have made all the changes we had to (including basically switching to EP & combo feeding). It is tough, the struggle when you can't EBF when that's all you really WANTED to do.

I don't even know where to start with this one so Ill just offer huge hugs to anyone who feels hurt. You're all wonderful moms who are doing the best they can. From a mom of a little guy and a FF..you girls rock!
Adding my support and (((hugs))) to the ladies who were offended or who are struggling right now. You are amazing, strong, wonderful women and great moms.
Should I just change the subject of this post to " WHO DO YOU PREFER BULLY" @sscarolynedvx or @alphaphi98?
And no one's being bullied here. HTH!
How do you call whats going on here? I already sent my apologies to the F14 mamas, and I hope all you LOs are doing great, whether breastfed or formula fed.
Add me to the list of those who kind of feel like shit now. I was starting to feel better about supplementing, but this makes me anxiety come back. Now I'm running through so many scenarios in my brain thinking about what I could have done differently. Hugs to everyone dealing with weight issues. This shit sucks. Try to stay positive!
I've been around but always hesitate to post because of this, no acceptance. I didn't mean to make no one feel any type of way. I truly do apologize and thats definitely something to learn from I do realize that weight gain depends from baby to baby and of the circumstances. This is my very last post. SORRY F14 MAMAS I AM WORKING ON HOW TO DELETE THIS POLL TO AVOID ANY MORE PROBLEMS AND UPSETTING.
Hey OP, have you tried feeding goat milk to your baby from a sippy cup? @alphaphi98 does. Try that and I bet Your 4-5 month old will get even chubbier!

There's a shit load of acceptance and support available for all those who aren't judgmental twats/obnoxiously unsupportive dillweeds.
If you're not one of those things, there is no need to be afraid to post.
I. can't. even. with this post. first, I'm surprised that the all-knowing formula shamer came back from lurking just to post this shït. seriously?? waahh everyone's "bullying" me and I clearly don't know what bullying means but I'll tell you alllll the things you're doing wrong because formula is so bad. and I'll tell them to you on a thread about poop color with a baby who has a MILK ALLERGY because I don't care enough to be part of this community to know about the moms here. then I'll get butt hurt because no one can understand my barely comprehensible sentences but blame it on autocorrect.
am I allowed to say shut up? @alphaphi98 you had numerous chances and you mess them all up. no one cares that you don't feel included because you MADE that happen.
finally, @TyrannosaurusLex you are miss perfect. and I love you. and science. :x
ETA: I just realized I wrote "comprehensible" instead of "comprehendible". heh heh ">
Does anyone else think that Formula Shamer and AllaboutmePhi will read through this and just think "whatever, bitches be jealous. My baby is huge. Go me!"
Or they'll think we are mean bullies. After all they're "allowed to have their own opinions!", which means we shouldn't disagree with them of course.
They don't see how stupid and hurtful and unkind the things they've said are, and honestly, they likely don't care. They care more about their own butthurt on being told they're wrong than on who they've hurt.
My dad once told me that you can tell you're an adult when you can hear you're wrong and apologize rather than get defensive and feel worse for the wronged person than yourself. While I don't completely agree with all he said, that one makes some sense to me.
It isn't about your butthurt and your right to have opinions and what you meant. It's about what you said and who you hurt. Suck it up.
