Ugh.. how is this different than any other weight thread? There is a wide age range of babies here so I don't know how this is a fair comparison. Andplusalso some babies have been struggling to gain so this seems like an unecessary and insensitive poll.

I like TLex's use of "kid"  ha ha ha.  

Would love to debate formula especially as it relates to weight, because for my small LO they high calorie formula has been fantastic, but feeling way to lazy for stupid.

No way. I'll never forget the hurtful and unnecessary things you posted on a thread where a mom who's baby had already struggled with feeding issues was simply asking about poop colour. You waltzed in with a rude attitude and hurtful bullshit. I'd venture that more than half the moms on this board are using or have used formula at some point. I'm never going to sit back and let mothers be shamed for that.

Many of us who are formula feeding have a lot of guilt that we put on ourselves as it is and we appreciate those of you who help support us.  It is wrong that often we are made to feel ashamed.

So what makes you think I care about the things you're saying I did not hurt anybody I can post my opinion just like you do to other people when nobody asked for for your opinion.
I BF and when it's necessary I do give my baby formula so where do you come up that I'm against formula all I said that formula is man-made and of course breastmilk is better for your baby.

I am sorry if that hurt you but I did not say that the formula was messing with your babies digestive system all I said that you could try goats milk because I know people that had done studies on goatsmilk but I'm not going to get into this anymore. I truly apologize if you felt offended.

I feel like I kind of went straight to drama queen with this one, but it brought up 2 trigger issues with me: A LO who was very underweight and breastfeeding that didn't work out.  I'm gonna step back now.

Some babies arrived early, some late, some little, some big, in all different shapes. The only baby you can compare yours to is your own. The pedi can help with the percentile charts, but some babies just make their own.

This thread makes me feel like shit. I have a kid who's barely on the fucking growth chart, and I worry about it constantly. I lie awake at night and wonder if there's anything else I could be doing, I worry about whether or not she's going to be okay. I feel enormous amounts of guilt because I can't breastfeed any longer, and I miss it terribly.  

You want to know how our babies are doing? Seriously? You never post here, you don't know any of us. You posted this thread to brag about your ginormous child and stir shit up.

5. I started reading this after the apology, and I'm still offended. That was an asshole thing to say and this is a ridiculous poll. There is no reason to compare the weights of our babies. Unless you're looking at the weight chart in your doctor's office, other LO's weights have nothing to do with yours.

This thread made me feel shitty. I BF as much as possible, but I don't make enough to keep up with his appetite. Don't formula shame. It's not okay. Our babies have to eat too, and my doctor doesn't recommend anything other than formula.

Tl;dr: Think before you speak.
