Hey bumpies! warning: loss mentioned

I've been off the boards for a little while and I miss y'all so much! I hope this doesn't seem selfish since I haven't been around lately but my family could really use some t&ps. My SIL was 39 weeks pregnant today and couldn't feel the baby moving this morning. She went into the hospital to get assessed and they couldn't find a heartbeat. She gave birth to a sweet 12 lb. angel Gabriel Michael tonight. We were able to hold him and love him and say our goodbyes to him. Her heart is broken and I just can't even imagine what she is going through right now. Any thoughts and prayers would be so appreciated.

I love y'all, j13! I'm back and planning on jumping back into the board, things have just been rough lately. I hope all of your sweet babies are doing wonderful and all of the momma's as well!

Thanks y'all! I just feel so awkward because I don't know what to say or do for them right now. I don't want to say the wrong thing, it's just such a sad situation.

If anyone has any advice on what to say or something I can do for them I will gladly take it. I honestly haven't been around much loss and I can be socially awkward in situations like this.

T&Ps for sure, so sad to hear about her loss.

I had a friend who delivered her angel baby at 36 weeks. We worked together, and we spent an entire afternoon in my cube while she just talked about the whole experience, shared everything, then showed me pictures. I let her cry it out and offered her tissues and hugs. Later she thanked me for just letting her share her memories. When she was pregnant with her second I was always reminding her that Konner was watching after his baby brother and everything would be OK. She appreciated that I acknowledged her first son and that her second baby was "the younger brother".

As time goes on just don't be afraid to talk about him. Don't be afraid to "remind her of him" because I guarantee he will always be on her mind.
