So when Keenan was in the hospital about a month ago I missed about a week's worth of BC. I wasn't terribly concerned, DH and I didn't DTD that often during that time.
Well surprise! BFP.
I was feeling a little queasy this morning so I went and got a test and sure enough, positive. Not even a squinter, it was clear as day. DH doesn't know yet, I'm trying to have lunch with him to tell him. Guys this is a total surprise. I don't even know when I'm due yet. I had a period about 2 months ago, then like a day of bleeding a month ago that I assumed was my period (the happens to me sometimes). So I'm going in today or tomorrow to get a blood draw, hopefully that yields something. It's like it'll be a February or so due date. Crappy timing in terms of work (I'm a CPA), but it's all good, they'll be flexible with me. Not much choice at this point!
I mean, I'm really excited, don't get me wrong, we were thinking of trying here in a couple months anyway. Just in complete shock. Any bright ideas on how to tell DH? Something I could do in about an hour? I took a picture of the test and was just going to use that, but I'm not thinking very clearly right now, lol!
