    I feel crazy. My brother's girlfriend came over today and as she is holding the baby, starts telling me how her 1-year old niece had the chicken pox vaccine and now has bumps on her so they think she might actually have it... but it's fine because she (gf) has already had chicken pox so she won't give it to baby.

    Logicslly this makes sense, right? Except I can't remember anything about a chicken pox vaccine anyway. And even if it sounds true, it still annoys the shit out of me.

    Am I nuts? Can I call-in resident export for all things science related, @kaysa2‌? (Sorry to bother you! )

    @lest12‌ my knowledge is about 25 years old but I think once you have the chicken pox once you're usually good to go and it's not common to get them again.

    FWIW, both my kids got bumps after receiving the chicken pox vaccine but neither of them were actually diagnosed with having chicken pox.

    @lest12 I do believe even with the vaccine you can still get chicken pox, but a more mild case of it. Same with already having chicken pox....if it happens again it's more mild. How old is your brother's gf? Adults would get shingles, not chicken pox.

    Bebes must be closer together!! But I may be on round 3 then so that works, too ;)

    DH and I are.... deciding. I wanted to try for a little girl, DH didn't. But now, with the newborn stage and all, I'm def not sure anymore! Especially with chances of having twins again!!!!! I love my boys but do NOT want to go through all this again lol...

    But if we do we would probably be more like F/M16, i dont want to be big and pregnant when it starts getting really hot again. nopee.

    If we didn't already have a 1 year old I might say yes! But for now I'm thinking J18 or J19 haha

    Out dating anniversary is the day before my birthday so it is an easy day to remember. We don't celebrate it but we do acknowledge it.

    We got married in 2011, so the past two years we've done the whole "yay 5/6 years!" I just wondered if we were weird or not haha.

    Also, I used the wrong "their/they're" and I've been quoted for it to be remembered forever! My English degree is laughing at me.

    My dad is reading to Cleo while she's in the bassinet. He's been here most of the day too. I think he's quite excited about his granddaughter. And apparently the dog responded well to when my dad brought home her smell and when DH did too. Woohoo!

    Would it be weird to take a baby to a winery? It's my sister's bday and we were planning to go to a local winery for lunch or dinner. Would it be acceptable to take a baby? I have to option of leaving him with my niece but I'm not sure.
