I wish the pedi would have gone over this at the 9 month appointment. Or I should have asked. I thought about asking the FF board, but I'm not sure if they are under a year or whatever. If anyone has insite to these questions feel free to answer. Dr. Google didn't pull much up.
Were FF btw. We tried the BLW way, but she isn't good at swallowing yet. She much prefers easy to swallow purées than watermelon, or anything besides cut up spagetti.
1. When do I stop the oatmeal cereal for breakfast? When I stop what do I feed her? Regularbreakfast? Eggs? Fruit?
2. She cries if she doesn't get 8 oz at night (now mixed half and half with formula and wm) if she is only supposed to get max 16 oz of wm a day how will I work this out? Girl loves her milk.
Sorry for another wm post, but I'm 100% confused.

thanks ladies!
Re: 17.99 dumb FTM questions
2. I think some kids just drink a ton of milk. Apparently it can be an issue if they only want milk and no food, but chances are things will be fine. I didn't know about the 16 oz max of wcm, btw...
Hth!
For breakfast, we typically do fruit, eggs or whole-grain waffle, toast with cream cheese/PB, etc. basically just regular breakfast food, but limited to things she can pick up easily. Some days we default to a banana and a handful of Cheerios ;-)
Re: the nighttime bottle, could you water it down? I feel like that's a thing? Did I just make that up??
We never did oatmeal. Tried it and he hates it. We do normal food for all meals. He usually gets fruit, some Cheerios, maybe some yogurt, waffle or bagel for breakfast.
As for milk consumption my pedi said to try to not go over 24 ounces.
We give him a bottle right when he wakes up, and he usually takes about 4-6 ounces. Then breakfast foods about an hour later.
Lunch is usually around 11:30. He gets a sippy with water at lunch.
Bottle before nap at 12:30 (6-8 ounces)
Snack about 3 with a sippy of milk. Maybe 4 ounces?
Dinner of solids and a sippy of water or very watered down juice.
8 ounce bottle at bed time
Edit: We will be all WCM by Monday. He only gets 1 bottle of formula a day at this point. His last bottle of the day
We don't do baby oatmeal, but we do Quaker 'Maple and Brown Sugar' flavour regular ole adult oatmeal. It's good for keeping the pipes running. She loves it!
We pretty much do BLW with her, though. I spread a bunch of stuff out on the tray and she picks at whatever she likes. Like @NKaeding we have a bottomless pit.
You could try fried eggs with some ketchup. We had that for dinner last night. I fry them easy over, then cut them up so the runny yolk is all over the whites and add a little ketchup for sweetness. They tend to be a little slimy by then, so they slide right down the gullet.
It is messy, though.
Monster Truck (It's a GIRL!) is due 19/02/2015!
We do yogurt for breakfast every day. That's a "real" food that's easy to swallow. Also some healthy banana bread, or eggs (whisked with milk before scrambling for a better texture), or Cheerios, or whatever he'll take. Just keep offering! She'll get there eventually.
FWIW, my pedi said up to 20oz of WCM.

You have confirmed what I've been thinking all along. Ugh. I may need a new, smarter, pedi.

2.) you can dilute 2 ounces with water & ice. That's how I do the 8 ounces over the day.
