My MIL has me freaked out. She always questions my ability to parent my kids, but she said crawling was a 6 mo milestone. All her kids were crawling by 6 mo as well as all the other grandkids. My DD crawled at 4 mo. So many babies on tb and bc are crawling so well and have been. LO, well he's nearing 7 mo and still no crawling in sight. He's a lump all the time.

My LO doesn't crawl either. He gets on his hands and knees but doesn't move. Our pedi isn't concerned. She told us some babies skip crawling to start pulling up/standing/walking.

I'm with you on the MIL. Mine loves to tell me how her sister does things. She had her first in her 40s and he's a few years older. Because I do things differently I'm wrong. Sorry you have to deal with that!

Thank you. My LO doesn't do anything.He never learned how to roll either way either. He can sit unassisted, but that's it. He won't get up on hands and knees, he doesn't army crawl. He used to love standing and walking holding my hands but even that makes him cry now. He just wants to lay on his back or be held.

DD was up every hour on the hour from 10:30pm-3:30am last night. I have a terrible headcold and fever of 101. So the last time she got up I just let her sleep on my side of the bed by herself and I moved over to DH's side. She sleep until 7:30am. I'm thinking she likes the comfort of my bed.

I want to move her into the crib but the nursery is filled with my kitchen and dining room stuff because of the renovation. I think I may have to clear a path and give it a try. I can't take another night of this.

I totally just clipped a piece of skin on Simon's finger while trying to cut his nails (not bleeding, but I see red).

He just looked up at me like, what was that?, and went right back to eating. Thank god, I was holding my breath thinking we were about to have a mini meltdown.

Birthday dinner tonight, hopefully it will be salmon, salad, smashed potatoes and dq ice cream cake but more than likely it will be hot dogs and ice cream.
DD#1 has her year end gymnastic showcase. I am nervous for her and I don't know why.

I made cinnamon toast crunch cupcakes as part of an order for a golf tournament today. I ate 6 for breakfast (they are mini cupcakes). I seriously could have ate like 10 more they were SO GOOD.

We played in the fountains downtown yesterday, then I danced my ass off with my kids at my cousin's wedding last night. We had so much fun! I love wedding season.

I got the Beco Gemini carrier yesterday and it's too big for me

I can't tighten the straps enough around my body to get a secure fit. I also felt like DD's legs were spread too wide. I really wanted to love it too.

Not to mention I planned on using it at Sesame Street place next week and now I don't know what to do.

I am so glad we opted for the video monitor., even though we live in a very small place. I think DS has gone to sleep, but then find him gnawing the crib or checking out the camera. I then find him konked out in the pitiful position below. I better go lay him down...

My Ex and I haven't been together for about 3 weeks now, and I was so sad leaving DS with him the first time. Even though I missed him, I do enjoy a day/night to myself every week. Go out and do something nice for yourself, I got a mani/pedi!

@rachel2011‌ I will be asking my ped, I feel concerned because LO hasn't learned new skills in a long time. No rolling, crawling, he hardly reaches for toys and always misses, can't hold things. He's just a lump that sits there or lays there.

Eta: It is good to know crawling is an 8/9 month milestone. I thought it was, but everyone kept correcting me to say 6 months.

I think it depends on how thin you are. I told DH if anyone was any skinnier then me they couldn't use it. Mine is almost as tight as it can go.

This! I'm about 5'5" but only about 100 lbs. The shoulder straps were wider than my shoulders too

Mine is the tightest possible. I guess it works since I am chubby.

I made the mistake of reading the DEC 14 FFFC car seat threadthread and watching the videos. Now I am bawling, want nothing but to hug my LO close but I can't be cause MIL is watching her in the next county so I can sleep and I am seriously rethinking my choice in convertible car seat.
