Is this unpopular? I think it's weird that my daycare has multiple fundraisers a year. WE'RE your fundraisers and the funds we give you amount to a large chunk of our monthly income. I'm pretty sure DH and I are the only parents that feel this way though because they are well attended by people other than us.

That's not unpopular with me at all. I would LOL at DS' daycare if they threw a fundraiser. Hayell no.

Im a little embarrassed to say, I don't know where "here" is/where he's currently held. But doesn't he have to go throught the highest court/like a military court? I'm not sure what exactly the charges are but traitor and terrorist probably are 2 counts, right? So doesn't he have to go through the Supreme Court vs a state court?

I think workplaces should have a rule that you're not allowed to have a strong bodily smell. And maybe people would just get an anonymous letter on their desk saying they're breaking it. I know that's a sensitive topic because no one wants to be told, "hey, you stink," but the strong perfumes/colognes and BO are really getting to me.

Not unpopular. I thankful my daycare has never pulled that. I pay more than my mortgage when both kids are attending.

I was listening to it on the morning show I really like and they were making a mockery out of it. The one female on the show was like "staahhp you guise" but the whole time they were sexualizing nursing. It's just not funny to me. That whole mentality, even as a "joke", is what perpetuates a lot of the ignorance against nursing or the "just use a cover" type.

Here? This is a list of the shit I've heard this week:
-calling a 13 year old a slut
-asking where the 15 year old victim of statutory rape's parents where (no idea how to word that, sorry) and implying she "knew what she was doing"
-joking about dumping their cat on the side of the road because he hunted and would be just fine
-joking with a guest who would put her beta fish together and watch them fight when bored.

This. Every time I listen to a "comedy" morning show it just sounds like sexist bullshit to me. If you have an MP3 player or if you keep music on your phone, you can buy an adapter. If your car is newer-ish, it should have a USB hookup. My car is 2000 so I use a tape deck adapter.
