On my 15th birthday in the high school gym. I spoke to a mutual fried he was walking with and he smiled. I thought....he's kinda cute with his retainer and all. We kinda flirted, talked and dated and then I got over him a few months later. We barely spoke for about a year when until I was almost 17 (he was 18 and about to graduate) and he asked if he could drive me home. I said sure and we have been together ever since. 13 years later.... :x
We met while driving safari trucks at Disney World. He was new there and became friends with some of my friends and we all ended up together at Downtown Disney one night. We talked a little bit, and he asked me to the movies, and I said sure, maybe, and put him off for over a month. He was super persistent. Finally, we did go out, to Epcot instead of a movie, and things went from there. Decided two months later we were gonna get married, got officially engaged at 1 year, and here we are now. I adore him--he's so smart, funny, and good looking. He definitely completes me!

My good friend knew my now husband for a few years, but she was his boss and so they never hung out outside of work. Right after she switched organizations, we threw a Halloween party together and she invited him. He had a mohawk (from a dare) and came dressed a the guy from Taxi Driver (no shirt, leather jacket, combat boots). But by the time I met him, he'd ditched the leather jacket. So, what I met was a guy with a mohawk and no shirt on (and quite a nice set of abs). I thought he was a total d-bag. We didn't really speak that night.
But, we continued to go to the same things (karaoke night, etc) and after about a week I got to know him and fell pretty hard, pretty fast. We were married 6 months later. I like to think that since my friend knew him for years there was a good chance he wasn't going to chop me into a million pieces on the honeymoon.
I lived with DH's cousin in the dorms my freshman year. It was a random assignment. She was an alright roommate at first, but after DH and I started dating second semester, she turned into psycho crazy lady.
Fast forward to our wedding 6 years later, she wasn't invited and she crashed. Whack job.
DH I actually started dating a few days after I broke up with my longtime junior high/high school boyfriend. We joked for the longest time that I was on the rebound. Guess I still am.
i sat behind him in a products liability class and had a HUGE crush on him because of the freckles on his nose. and his monogrammed dress shirts. omg. one day he offered me a piece of gum.
DH and I met in Middle School. We were friends and went to the 8th grade dance together. Dated all of freshman year in high school then broke up. Didn't speak to each other until senior year was almost over and started dating again right away. Ended up both going on a school Spanish trip to Peru right after graduation and he proposed to me at Machu Picchu. Married when we were 20 and been married 6 years
I became friends with DH's sister-in-law. His brother kept telling me I had to meet his brother and I kept putting him off. We finally met when DH came down for game night on New Year's Eve. He came down a month later for another game night and we talked more this time around. He asked me for my e-mail because he was working night shift. I told him I was on Facebook and he could message me there. I didn't want to give out my e-mail incase he was a stocker. I figured it would be easier to unfriend/block him on Facebook. He messaged me and that was it. Started dating 6 months later, engaged a year after that, and will be married 5 years this year.
I met DH through his sister setting us up! The two previous times that friends had tried to set me up resulted in epic fails so it took several months and a few photos of him to convince me to go along with her plan. We hit it off the first night and were saying 'I do' two years later
