    Husband and kid are napping, though I can hear L talking to himself now.  H wanted me to wake him up at 4.  I really don't want to go get either of them.  I just want a few more minutes of peace.

    Im totally ok with the fact that DH is out on the bike having kid free fun without me right now. I've been nothong but a nauseous, lazy, unmotivated blob for the past 3 weeks at least, and at least I can sit on my ass and do nothing while kiddo plays without him judging me for it (not that he outwardly judges me for it, bc he never says a word, I think its more just my guilty conscience attacking me).

    @Peanutbutterfox, if you can't get to 1000 calories with the pizza, I would add some salad and / or veggies and wine if you're drinking.

    Well on food network canada he hosts a show pretty much like triple D but obvs Canadian restaurants and he was about to eat a filled donut and the lady stops him and say you gotta eat from the hole...and he says what?!?!

    Things are good here! I made and gave DH his father's day present (we both suck at waiting), let DD  do a little painting (I'm under the impression that keeping busy will help her general mood and attitude) and painted her toenails.  Dinner is heating and then wine and more unpacking, which I love.  DH is all, "We have all summer to do this."  Um, no.  Can't.Relax.Until.Done.

    We are going out to dinner soon, but I made Peking Pork Chops in the slow cooker for tomorrow. I snuck a taste and OMG. Dinner has a lot to live up to.

    It would take a hell of a lot of veggies and salad to get to 1000 lol. Thanks, though. It'll be fine, I just am a freak who's actually less hungry when I'm more active.

    DD is finally asleep. She refuses to nap all day so every evening is meltdown time. She was clingy and whiny all day.
    I had a mother's helper slash potential babysitter over today. She is sweet and seems responsible but doesn't have a lot of initiative. Like when DD was all mommy mommy she didn't try to distract her or play with her. WTF, that's why you're here. I don't know that she's a keeper.

    It was just an unfair dancing comparison! There wasn't nearly enough Benny dancing. To be honest I haven't seen anything Tom is actually in. But still Benny wins my heart.
    That's true about the dancing. I think Tom dances with very little provocation, whereas Benny not as much. To get Tom's appeal, you need to watch him in some interviews on YouTube. I recommend the MTV Slumber Party video and some of the "funny moments" video compilations.

    Or you could not do that, avoid falling down the rabbit hole, and remain a normal person.

    Omg 9pm & we are finally heading to tge hotel. Great times had by all but everybody knows what a day (starting at 4am) of fun in the sun leads to. Crabby ass cracker eating kids & husband. Its ALL
    them. Swear. I am a peach. Not tired & cranky at all.....

    @Untagable little jerry, how old is your DS? I'm sure he would love it tho! We had ages 2, 4, 6, 9 & 12 with us today. They have 3 kiddy areas on the water side plus 2 wave pools & a lazy river, & 2 kiddie areas on the amusement side. Plus tons of
    other rides. My 6yo can ride just about everything. Also, free parking, free 30SPF sunscreen stations & free drinks. Food is a little pricey but not horrible, but you can not take your own cooler in. Good times tho, I highly recommend it. We've been 3-4 times now.
