  • I confess, I dislike my neighbors and have noticed several things on their property that are in violation of local ordinances. They recently added an illegal structure right on the property line. It's the last straw. I called the city. They are entitled self absorbed millennialis who have a complete disregard for the neighbors and who believe that the rules don't apply to them or perhaps they are simply too ignorant to know better. Either way, I don't feel badly about making the call.
My confession is that I hate the term millennials. I work with first year college students and have for 12 years. I don't believe people can be lumped into categories depending on when they were born. And I hate the term even when it's spelled correctly. ;) I think this is more like an UO than a FFFC but I'm bad at differentiating. Someone should flame me for that. Oh wait... I'm having déjà vu.

CALM DOWN, kraken ;) (I hope you know I'm joking!!!)

I don't like the term either. I'm considered one and have worked hard for everything I have.
  • I don't understand people who don't like puppies/dogs. I get so mad when I'm walking Layla and people don't pet her!
@smboswell1 I HATE it when DD and I are out for a walk and people will literally cross a fueld with their dogs to come over to us. "oh but she just wanted to meet your daughter. she's friendly" that nice. f off. one time I said no thank you and this guy wouldn't leave us alone. I finally had to get nasty and leave the park.

FFFC I really dislike dogs it grosses me out when I see them drooling or ina car.people with dogs usuaaly smell.

I know you can't control street parking but this asshole neighbor who has 4 cars and rents (so he can't use the driveway) leaves his car outside my house PERMANENTLY. It's been about 5 or 6 weeks now that I've noticed.we moved in October so I didn't pay much mind til recently but now that I think about it, it's always been in front of my house the majority of the time. How the fuck do you have 4 cars and rent. Get your priorities straight douche. He moved it once for a few hours and came back. Today is the day. I'm slashing his tires. Oh and one of his other cars is parked in the other spot outside my house 90% of the time I just didn't know that car also belonged to his household. I can't take it anymore!!!! I don't even want to hear it's a public street blah blah blah it's there all.the.fucking.time.always.

Not sure what the laws are where you're at but you might check the non-emergency line to see how long a car can be parked and left. If he leaves it longer then it should try and get it towed. I had to do that with a lawn guy that kept parking his truck and trailer at my old apartment compelx. I wouldn't have minded so much except for the fact he didn't live there.
This.  Many cities have ordinances where vehicles can't be parked for more than 24 hours, or overnight on the roadway, etc.

We have a single lane driveway and my step-son will keep his car in the street because he usually comes home after us at night, and leaves after us in the morning (Hubby and I leave about the same time).  I make him change up the house he parks in front of within four houses across the street so he's not monopolizing one spot in particular to be courteous.

  • It drives me crazy when people on the bump use very long quotes before their post. Delete some of that text! I'm getting carpal tunnel from scrolling on my iPhone pages just to see one new sentence!

  • On the dog topic, I hate when people notice my animal sniffing them and say "ohh, you smell my dogs?" it's silly. No, my cat sniffs everybody. I mean maybe he does but he doesn't care.

It's a weird thing to say, up there with "it's not the heat, it's the HUMIDITY that gets you"

I just hate those kind of commonplace nonstatements.

Have you never been in dry heat?  It is waaaaaaaay better than humidity.  I'd take it anyday.  I support that statement.  :)
I've never been in dry heat but I live on Long Island and let me tell you...humidity is a bitch. I believe I'd be able to handle the heat without the humidity, for sure.

First, let me just state that I love dogs. I also shower regularly and do not smell.

My FFFC is that I hate it when people wait for parking spots. Unless there are literally no other spots in the lot, deal with walking a little further. I understand that a small percentage of people who wait may have a legitimate reason for not being able to walk far, but most do not and it drives me crazy! Especially those that will sit and wait while you load your stuff in the car and put your cart away. Get off my ass!

But how do you know if there are any issues?? It's not like you ask them after? So basically everyone waiting is irritating.

  • @runningmama14‌ I grew up in south Florida but have been in Philly for five years now. What I hate about those kind of statements is that they literally contribute nothing.

It's like in office space where the lady always says, "looks like someone's got a case of the Mondays!!"

Just a dumb meaningless thing to say. Know what I mean?
