@quartermisses Here they call a crosswalk a "zebra crossing" because of the stripes on the street. I about choked on my drink when I read the term in their driver's manual.

It's called a Zebra crossing in Scotland, too. It took me awhile to get used to calling it a crosswalk when I got back to the states (which is stupid because I wasn't there very long).
