  • I do not get people who stress and complain when flights are delayed because of weather there is literally nothing that can be done. What are you going to do.
    Posted too soon boarding plane.

I complain because it sucks. Just like it sucks that I have awful cramps today and Ros wants to play for an hour or two MOTN lately.

These are all things that must be endured. But I will complain about them.

(I would not go freak out at airline staff though, that's obviously no bueno)
Complaining about stuff that can't change is like trying to persuade a penis crusader to stop crusading. It's a waste of time.

  • Complaining about injustice is different...like when I complain about taxes and unions. ;)

What you're missing is that you don't have to be trying to accomplish anything. What does drinking a glass of wine accomplish? Nothing, but it makes me feel better :-??

Obviously nobody likes a negative nancy who complains about everything in their life all the time, but there's nothing wrong with bitching that your flight got cancelled. It sucks!
One thing to complain about a cancellation. It's another to yell at airport staff.
Why does it suck? Were you trying to accomplish getting home? :) Are there no more flights on to your city? :)

Did you miss the last flight before rebels took over the capital?
If so then complain I guess. Husband fortunately was on that flight. ;)

Has wearing wellies (rain boots) with shorts when it's hot out become a trend? I have seen several young women and teens wearing these things together recently. Sweaty feet much?

ETA: I guess my UO (hopefully not very U of an O) is that this is dumb.
I'm guessing they are hunters? If so my thought is they paid 100+ dollars for rain boots they want to sport them whenever possible. It's not a good look and not allowed in my house. If it's raining wear some pants.

It has never been raining when I've seen this. I just googled "rain boots and shorts" and there are tons of articles talking about how "cute" this look is. Along with dozens of pictures of ladies wearing this in sunny weather. Oookay then. Enjoy your foot odor and bizarre tan lines.

I think we can blame everyone at Coachella for this whole thing.

  • @ashie624 - I'm sorry you had to rehome.  It's so hard!  Even harder when people are judgy about it.  :(

@mrsgiantpenis - I really wasn't talking about you, I hope you don't think I was!! It just reminded me of my somewhat related UO.

    @altima80 -  >:D<

@gulickr - I'm sorry about your furbaby.  :(  It was a very hard decision that we discussed over the period of a few months.  We still miss them but in all honesty I have so much less guilt and stress now that I know they're on their way to a better life.  Truthfully we could not have afforded their upcoming vet bills either and that was another factor in our decision.  It's so awesome that you get to stay informed about how your pup is doing!!  I hope he enjoys his new friend!  :)

Leaf blowers are a pointless invention
@cfreymc - nay!  Just a poorly named invention (well.. for me anyway).  I like to use them to blow stuff out of my cracks in the garage.  Yes I know how weird that sounds, but I'm leaving it.  :)

@laurac122 - thank you.. I think that's what made me so upset--it's already a horribly sad decision to come to.  I don't need people's comments.

@livvyx - When I was in school our rain runoffs were shit so when it rained it puddled DEEP all over campus for the whole day.. so lots of people would wear rainboots around campus to avoid having wet pants/feet/flops/whatever and many times wear shorts.  For me/us it was more of a practical thing..... now the Ugg boots and shorts thing... I don't get that.

  • BUT the juices will run down her leg and into her boots, thus creating swampy vag foot. Maybe vag juices are the new alternative to a good pumice stone and a moisturizing cream?

I did think of that so maybe she is protecting the world and trying to keep that nasty stuff contained?!?

You, my Dear, obviously do not have any Oak trees. They drop leaves and little seed pods all year. How does one rake a roof and driveway?
Damn, I do have oak trees. Maybe that's why the previous owners left is their leaf blower... :-?
