I'm up cuz my house has a messed up sleep schedule (yay evening shift).
Nothing particularly interesting to say. Pretty excited that LO went to bed like 2 hours ago. Sometimes she won't go to bed until we do. I love hubby time
Hello! I am up because I'm on the other side of the world LOL...
I've been so absent lately and I've been missing all of you. I've been moving for the last 2 weeks and it has been crazy even if we have help (grandma is taking care of LO)... so much work, my back is killing me.
LO has a new tooth (which explains the screaming in the MOTN), I'm drying up which is very sad but not surprising after little sleep and not drinking enough water.
How are you? Any new gossip around?
I think I will be able to be around more often now that we got the boxes out of the way (for the floors in which we live in... the attic is a mess!)
I was completely unprepared for moving to a new unfurnished house (we moved before but from and to furnished appartments so it was a metter of putting things in their new place and done... now we need to find and buy furniture, assemble it and then put things inside...) We've living here for less that 5 years and it's amazing how much stuff you get!

I had such a good weekend. Monday is rough, man. Actually, I think I just need a job that doesn't start at 7:30. Or at least a job that gets me home earlier than 5:30. At least it is sunny by 5:50 am. Makes it so much easier than in the winter.
Good morning ladies. Tomorrow DH and I are headed to move our things into a new condo and start our daycare/nanny search. Hopefully by the end of the week we have things set up and childcare arrangements.
I feel like a dirt ball. Every day this weekend my 2"year old has been smearing dirt all over me and the baby has been rubbing food all over my clothes. Yesterday Enzo dumped bubbles in my hair and all over my shirt. I gave him a bath two days in a row which turned the water brown. Silly boys!
Poor baby woke up screaming and crying. She is having some man sized poops that are massive for my little baby. She got it out. Then she passed out on my shoulder. It was so awesome (not the poop part). She never does that. I might have to call the DR about it.
I am up again since DH had to take his sis to the airport. I get my bed back. Not that she hogged it or anything, but it is nice not sharing with anyone.
Swim lessons later this morning, then I need to do some grocery shopping.
DH is SO TIRED because he COULDN'T SLEEP last night - woke up at 2:30 and made so much noise to obviously wake me up as well. He was back sound asleep when L woke up at 4am of course, and also when I got up at 5:30 to go to class. L woke up at 6:15 while I was gone and now he is back in bed and CAN HARDLY OPEN HIS EYES. Boo freaking hoo.

Today is Hailey 's sixth birthday so we're getting ready for her friend party later this afternoon. She invited 10 girls over which wouldn't be a big deal but it's supposed to rain all afternoon so now they'll be inside. Yikes! I was planning on them playing outside. Wish me all the luck!
@Pink724 I hate when that happens! Good for you going to spin so early though!
@valstulas so happy to hear that! You're still on my mind a lot.
Between this and their slaughtering of animals in their "shelters", I think it's time for PETA to reevaluate their goals. Then kindly GTFO.

One of my best friends is in labor!!!! She is 41w 1d so she is very, very ready. She said contractions are only about every 8-10 minutes but they are slowly getting stronger. I am so excited for her (and a bit jealous - does that make me crazy?).

Yikes. My BIL has severe autism and yes, being dairy free helps...because he is allergic to milk. No kid (or adult) is a happy camper when you're cramping and gassy. That in no way means dairy causes autism.

Good morning! We are on our way home so I'm bumping from the road. We looked at some town houses to rent in MD and got to see family. I think we may have found our new home!
It was a sad weekend as well though after finding out a close family friend died saving a girl's life out on Lake Erie. He was only 43 and is leaving his sweet wife and 4 children behind. ( my heart is broken for them.
On a less serious note, I just read a news blurb about a bride who wore her 1 month old baby down the aisle. The baby was attached to her train and was dragged down the aisle. @-)
Sorry about your friend @stephyfaith Assuming the baby was unharmed, a baby being dragged down the aisle on the train of a wedding dress is kind of a hilarious image.

No more puking, today seems better, but mornings were ok the last 2 days too, just got bad later in the day. We'll see how the rest of today goes.
I got wrangled into some work in the grad school office so I have to scoot today - details later if I can.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
I am up at 615am but my baby is asleep... I should be asleep! DS1 is graduating (for lack of better word) from 5th grade and there is a ceremony today at 10am. I always get my daughter flowers for special events but what do you get a boy???
@valstulas I am so glad to hear that Owen is doing well
@citrusfamily and @Pink724 you ladies are so awesome--inspiring me to get my butt in gear too, yoga on Friday kicked my butt because I haven't been going as often as I need to!

My dad took Eva for a walk so I could start packing. My bed looked better so I'm in it resting instead. I never procrastinate but it feels so good to stretch out.

I am soo, soo glad I started transitioning Alden to WCM last week.
I'm doing 1/4 WCM to 3/4 breastmilk, but that 3.75 oz reduction means no more shuttling milk to him midday, no more stress about how to keep up with him, and that that I am not only meeting his needs but I may even be able to stockpile enough to have enough bottles for bedtimes, middle-of-night, and 1/2 & 1/2 bottlesfor my 4-day trip at the end of the month. Ahh.
P has a bacterial infection in his eye. The poor kid is miserable and this momma is tired. The pedi prescribed eye drops 3x a day for a week. One dose down, 20 to go!

These ants in my house need to GTFO. I read that spraying them with soapy water helps to kill them and hide their trail so that's what I've been doing, but I accidentally grabbed the Pledge multi-surface spray and doused one this morning. Possibly a little bit of overkill there.

@stephyfaith, that is so heartbreaking about your friend!
@DenverBride2005, I hope Caleb's appointment goes well! Enjoy your snuggles with him before then.
I'm enjoying working today because it means I can sit still. LO is one busy boy and is into everything! So there was a lot of chasing him around this weekend. His latest fascination is with the air vents, especially the ones that are on the floor. He loves to stick his fingers through the grate and has even learned how to pull some of them completely up and out of the floor. I need to figure out how to baby proof these things. :-?
We live in a subdivision and share our backyard fence with four neighbours. The two behind us got together and decided to replace the fence. They didn't tell us about it and the new fence panels are a different style than the old ones so we (and the people beside us) now have a mismatched fence. Also, the new panels are not the same size as the old ones and there's a foot wide gap now between the back two neighbours property..... I'm pretty sure they don't intend to fill it since it's "hidden" on their side by their sheds. The one older neighbour told us not to worry about splitting the cost, he said he was happy to pay it..... The other neighbour expects us to pay the full cost of the fence we share. I told him to pound sand. There was no fence replacement discussion and we had no say in this so no, I'm not paying a dime, plus I now no longer have a fully fenced backyard since this gap is there. It's a good thing I don't have a dog. :-w
