I introduced a few weeks back but havnt been around so I figured I would post again. I'm 14 1/2 weeks with #2. My due date is 11/22 and DS turns 1 on 11/7!! Just found out today we are having a little girl!!
I'm 34 and a FTM, 17 weeks preggo and I'm so happy to be here! It's been a long 6 years of trying to get pregnant but here we are and couldn't be more excited!
My husband and I live in San Diego but we are from the east coast. We have a Shephard/ Hound mutt named Rocco that we are totally obsessed with
Even though I have waited until now to intro myself, please don't hold that against me... Im so thankful for this board and all the ladies here. It's been a huge support for me. It's so comforting to read all the posts. It's such a crazy wonderful experience! Now I just need to get over this stupid cold!
Hi! I'm Melody. I've been lurking and commenting since early March. From North Texas. I'm 38, FTM, married 14 years. Due 11/10/14. Sixteen weeks and two days preggers. There. Now I feel official. Thanks for the opportunity.
N14 November Siggy Challenge - Straight up Celebration!!!
Hey! My name is chelsey, I'm 23. FTM here So I've posted a few times here and there but I have been lurking since my BFP in February. I'm pretty much on here every day laughing and crying with all of you.
Im 17 weeks today! I honestly can't believe it's already been 17 weeks but then again I feel like it's been forever if that makes any sense? Haha. My husband and I have been together for 5 years but our 1 year marriage anniversary was in March. We started trying to get pregnant in October of 2013 and we were so excited when we got our BFP!!
I've definitely learned a lot from this board but don't feel like I have much to contribute since I feel like I don't really know much about being pregnant. I definitely look forward to posting more and hanging around for a while!
Hi everyone, I'm Mallory. I'm 25 and a FTM. I've been on here since the beginning, but I rarely comment unless I feel I have something to contribute. I found out I was pregnant right before my husband deployed to Afghanistan, and the only family I have in SC is my little sister- thank God for her! I try to keep up with the bump daily, it's been very helpful since I have no experience at all with anything pregnancy related! I just found out yesterday that I'm having a little GIRL! I was totally shocked, because my doctor felt pretty sure she was a boy at my 13 week ultrasound.
My name is Summer. I'm almost 25. My boyfriend is 35. I was on birth control when I got pregnant, so big surprise! This baby is very much wanted though. It will be the first for both of us. Together we have 2 dogs and a cat. He works for the post office and only gets one day off a week. I'm jobless at the moment.
I am helping my parents raise my 7 year old nephew. Sort of a shared custody thing.
I've been around since March, but don't think I ever officially introduced myself.
My name is Meghan. I was born in CA, but have been in AZ for almost 20 years. I am 32 and DH is 35. We've been together 10 years and married almost 7. I'm expecting baby #3 on Nov 18th, but it is my 4th pregnancy as we had a loss in Nov 13. Aubrey will be 5 in July and Connor will be 2 next month. No furry pets, but we do have a betta fish named Unicorn lol. I work from home in real estate and also take care of my kiddos. DH is currently on the night shift, so life is a crazy juggling act most days!
I only make it on here once every day or two, but I try to contribute and lend support as much as possible. Some days I feel like an old pro at this mom thing, other days I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing!! Looking forward to learning and laughing with you ladies!!!
@excitedpreggo12 - I have a 9-year-old Great Dane! She's an old lady (I've had her since she was a puppy -- longer than I've had my husband) and I'm pretty sure she's senile half the time, but she is a totally awesome dog. Awesome breed!
N14 Nov. Siggy: CELEBRATION!
TTC since 2011
Aug. - Sept. 2013 - dIUIs = BFNs
January 2014 - IVF = 3 freezer babies
March 2014 - FET of AA and AB blast = BFP! Twins!
Nov. 7, 2014 - Wilhelmina "Willa" Suzanne (4lb 14oz) and Ari Jose (6lb 4oz) were born via CS
I have been here since the beginning but I don't think I ever officially did an intro (and if I did-I apologize!)
My name is Shelley and I am 30 yo, DH is 29 yo. We have been together for 13 years (high school sweethearts!) and married for 4. This is my fourth pregnancy and 3rd baby. We have two sons, ages 3 and 21 months. I had a MMC May 2013 and had unexplained infertility issues after my D&C. I found out about this pregnancy at my OB appointment discussing my infertility issues and feel blessed, excited, and a little nervous about the family dynamic change that will happen when this baby comes home
I am a part-time Reading Recovery teacher and am looking forward to summer break! DH works in construction. We are 9 days away from finding out if this baby will finally be our girl or if we have another crazy boy to add to the mix! (So far 7 boys, 0 girls on DH's side and 5 boys, 2 girls on my side).
I have enjoyed every day on here so far and am hoping that I can eventually learn how to gif! I'm also glad to be reading about all of you lurkers that are intro-ing. Keep em coming!
I don't believe I ever did an intro I'm pregnant with baby number 2 due Nov. 1st. My SO will be a first time dad but has his adopted daughter from a previous relationship and then of course my daughter. My daughter is 5 and Iw'd super excited to be a big sister soon, we adopted our pup almost a year ago and we love the outdoors, big in camping, singing, dancing, cooking, and art. Just love life.
Hi all! I don't believe I've officially intro'd either, so here it goes:
I'm a 25 year old Canadian FTM. DH (27) and I have been married just over a year now, and once we decided to start TTC in January, we were pleasantly surprised (and absolutely blessed and thankful) with how quickly it happened. We are 15w4d along and so far only close family and friends/coworkers know (I don't know that facebook will ever really find out from me, haha).
We have a beautiful little beagle who is almost 5, we love to travel, we both work full time jobs and I'm currently pursuing my MBA on-line. So life is full but awesome!
Very happy to be a part of this board - everyone seems great, and very supportive. I'm learning quite a bit and tons of my little fears are eased by a quick search on thebump boards .
Hello! I have been lurking (stalking?) you all since my BFP a couple of months ago. I was not wanting to get to excited about the pregnancy until my first doc's appointment at 11 weeks. EDD is 11/24.
I am 23 and DH is 29. We live in California, and have been married since Oct 2012. This pregnancy is a total surprise, but we are finally settling into the idea of having a LO.
We have a 2 year old dog (chiweenie), a year old mini potbelly pig, and a lot of chickens as DH raises and sells some rare breed chickens.
Anyway, I am thrilled to be on here, and am excited to get to know some of you ladies!
AWWWE... Fun! I wanna PLAY! I'm not exactly sure the specifics of a lurker, I've posted a several times, but never intro'ed!
I'm 33 and this baby will be number 3 for me but we will have four total... 12 yo boy, 11 yo girl and 17 mo yo boy. We have the 2 older and now the 2 younger. DH and I met 7 years ago and married 3 years ago. He owns his own small business and I work as an analyst for a natural gas company so life is hectic and crazy! I try to keep up with the bump as much as possible but some days are an epic fail! I love the NOV 14 mommas and can always count on them for laughter or support!
I never did an intro but I've been lurking for awhile. I am due Nivember 5th with a boy. We already have a girl who is 17 months old. I did the panorama test at 10 weeks since I am of "advanced maternal age", which is how we already know the gender. We are very excited!
Hi everyone, I'm also an occasional poster, frequent lurker who never did an intro on here. I'm Jess, I've lived in Jersey my entire life, and I'm pregnant with #1, due November 2. My DH and I have been together for a little over 10 years, married for almost 3 of them. He's a lawyer, I work at a pharmaceutical company, and we just bought our first house about a year and a half ago.
So the story of TTC: in early 2010 my doctor discovered I had a septum completely dividing my uterus and vagina. I had surgery #1 to remove the vaginal piece in spring 2010 then surgery #2 to remove the uterine piece in spring 2011. DH and I got married in summer 2011, and the next summer we were just thinking about when we should start TTC when I started having some unusual abdominal, back and uterine pains. After several months of my OB insisting I had a yeast infection I finally went back to the RE who had done my last surgery, and she suspected endometriosis. This was confirmed via a laparoscopy in late 2012. We started TTC at the beginning of 2013, and finally in February 2014 I got my BFP! I'm excited to be part of the N14 group, you guys are a great group and I appreciate your honesty and wit
Hi, ladies.
I'm Jan. I'm 38 years-old and a FTM. I've been reading your wonderful posts since I got my BFP in March. I'm due November 26, and I'm having a boy.
For most of my adult life, I didn't think I wanted to have children. I have a huge family and I've always been content being Aunt Janny. I think I'd been having subconscious baby thoughts for a while, but one fateful night last October I started bawling during an episode of Parenthood. Much to my husband's confusion, I announced that I wanted a baby. --- And here I am. I am amazed that it all happended so quickly. I've been in a state of bewildered, cautious excitement for three months.
Thanks for all the laughs, tears, and encouragement!
ETA - No paragraphs? I'm using an iPad.
Hi everybody! I've posted on a few things, but never did a formal intro. I'm 37 years old and my husband and I live in NJ. We have been married for three years and have a beautiful daughter named Emma who will be turning two in a few weeks. We are now expecting our second child on November 16 and just found out today that we'll be having another girl! I'm still processing this information as I was convinced I was having a boy...lol!
This board has been so helpful and supportive during the past several months. Looking forward to continuing to getting to know all of you
Hello everyone!
My name is Kristen. I am a 28 year old high school math teacher in Western Washington (State). This is my second pregnancy but will be my first baby. Today is bitter sweet as today was the due date of my first pregnancy and I had my 16 week appt for this pregnancy and got to hear the heartbeat for the first time.
My DH and I met almost 10 years ago when we were freshman in college. I enjoy traveling, watching movies, running, teaching, scrap booking, and napping I am enjoying this pregnancy but also can't wait to meet my little bug. My EDD is 11/11!
Hi, and congratulations to all! I've been occasionally commenting on various boards for the past several months. I'm a first time mom-to-be, and after 2 losses in the past year, I'm 16w4d pregnant and due on November 10. My husband and I just celebrated our 2nd anniversary, and we've lived in Brooklyn since right after our wedding. I grew up in NY, and work in event planning and fundraising in Manhattan. But we're moving to Michigan (where my husband grew up) on June 16, and will be living with my mother-in-law for a year... so lots of life changes in a short amount of time!
@SarahMaureenF, I'll be about 45 minutes from Ann Arbor, in Bloomfield Hills. My husband went to UMich so I'm sure we'll be spending some time in your area. He's excited to be having a baby in Michigan!
I'm a belated of the belated intros.
I'm 35 and a sahm to my 3.5 year old son. I have no idea what info is in my siggy because I haven't posted to the bump in over a year. We started trying for my son 7 years ago. I was diagnosed with PCOS and tried all the drugs and procedures my RE presented to us. While we were having some extra tests run to start IVF, I found out I was pregnant with my son. I like to say that the infertile got a surprise BFP! DS was born in late 2010.
We weren't sure if we'd have the same level of difficulty getting pregnant again, so we just decided to stay off birth control and see what would happen. I got pregnant in Sept 2012 and miscarried a week later at 5.5 weeks. I got pregnant again in January 2013 and was excited once I finally got out of 1st trimester. I went in for an appt at 15 weeks without a care in the world and left that appt finding out the baby had lost it's heartbeat. I had a D&E two days later (on my 34th birthday) and found out a few weeks later that our baby was a boy and he had Down Syndrome, which likely caused his passing. I was devastated. It really took me until the end of the summer to come out of the funk and sadness of his loss.
We decided to start trying again last fall and that brings us to now. I waited on posting (although I've lurked) because although I can't help but be excited, I have put up a guard with this pregnancy. No big FB announcement from me yet. I had a great 16 week appt today and that puts me officially past my loss milestone, so I'm feeling pretty good today! I had the Maternit21 test done a few weeks ago and I'm having a girl! Her chromosomes look healthy too!
Anyhow, hope to post more these days and get to know you ladies!

Hello!! I have been on here lurking and posting since March, but all I had was internet on my phone and with teaching, life was chaotic. Now, summer is here, I finally broke down and got a USB adapter so internet could reach my desktop (we moved the office into the wash room and are in the process of turning the office into the nursery). So, yay! Needless to say, I will be able to get on here more and post more. I am really looking forward to getting to know you all better.
I am 26 years old and live in Georgia. My husband and I met online in a children's chat room (it was legit. Monitors everywhere, couldn't share info, etc. etc. It was closing down, so we exchanged e-mails and got banned haha) I was 11 when we started talking, waited 8 years to meet in person, and started dating shortly after that. We have been married since November of 2012, and are now expecting our first LO. I teach middle grades remedial math (a.k.a. I get all the bad kids).
Well, I thought I'd post mine since I havnt before. My name is Erin I'm 25 years old, and my husband I will be married 7 years this august. We have two little girls and are expecting our third, a boy! I never expected to have children! I was told I was infertile, and to look into adoption when I was 18 years old. My doctors still havnt figured out how I've managed three pregnancies without assistance. We currently live in Southern California and my husband is SF for the navy! We met when we were 15 and I knew whoever married him would have to cope well with being alone a lot. Never thought it would be me! I'm currently working on my nursing degree, and have hopes of some day becoming a physician! I absolutely love this board! :x

What a nice idea! My name is Alex and I'm 27yrs from New Plymouth, New Zealand! I know... A total world away from you lot! I've been married to DH Peter (34yrs) for over two years now. A year ago we moved from the big smoke (Auckland) to my home town to be closer to my Dad and family as Dad was battling cancer. Instead of finding a job I spent all my time with him and helped with all his care. He passed 9 months ago at 55yrs. He was the most amazing father- a single Dad who raised me and my three brothers from the ages of 3, 5, 7 and 9. I haven't bothered to work since as we knew we'd start a family in the new year (and clearly we were right! EDD 28th Nov). We own our own home; a beautifully renovated 1940s cottage with gorgeous mountain views. We're hoping to fill all 4 bedrooms with kids eventually . DH and I have travelled extensively around the world, including to the US and Canada. We can't wait to get back there one day! PIP, DH is half New Zealander and half Malaysian, and I am 1/4 Austrian and 3/4 New Zealander, so we can't wait to see what our baby looks like!!
I've been lurking for the past few months but finally have the courage to intro! I'm 31 and DH is 36. This will be our first human child but we do have 2 fur babies. I suffered a missed miscarriage back in November so I've been super quiet about this pregnancy. So far only family and a handful of friends who've been around me this wedding season know - its pretty hard to keep a secret when you attend several out of town weddings and don't have sip of alcohol the whole weekend.
I just got back from a great OB appointment this morning though - my first one of the second trimester so my anxiety is finally starting to lessen and I feel like I'm ready to tell the world! Here's to a happy & healthy & boring 6 months!

Where in SoCal are you? I'm in Long beach. There doesn't seem to be too many of us on this BMB so I always get excited when I see another local
Wow! My uncle lives in long beach! I'm actually a bit further south in Temecula! Were hoping to be moving down to Coronado in the next few months. My husband put in for the housing there since he's over the drive. We've never lived in housing before so this will be an interesting experience! Have you always lived in long beach?

I suppose I should finally intro myself. I lurked for some time, but have finally started posting more as of lately...

Jrohrback623, we live in the same town and have the exact same age! Too bad we don't have the same due date or we could be bffs
