@kimmyberly26 is being induced!! (FINAL UPDATE - Kelsey Marie is here!) (XP - PGAL)

She is at the hospital, cervidil has been placed, and now she's resting up. I'm hoping she gets lots of rest, the cervidil does it's job, and that everything happens safely and smoothly! Send her lots of love!

UPDATE #1 - At about 7 am EST they started pitosin, as the cervidil hadn't done too much overnight. It's been about 2.5 hours - her contractions are about 3 min apart, and as she puts it, 'not too bad' so far

I'll update more as I hear from her. Keep her in your thoughts please.

UPDATE #2 - Her water broke around 11 EST! Baby is sunny side up, so the nurse had some difficulty with her check. But her doctor is going to come check on her around lunchtime.

UPDATE #3 - Baby's heartrate was dropping with contractions, but they gave her fluids and got it back steady. Kim is 7cm and 100% effaced so it's getting closer!

FINAL UPDATE : At 6:27, Kelsey Marie was born! She weighed 6lbs 7oz and was 19 inches long. Congratulations to her hard working Mama and to the whole family!!
