Sending hugs your way. So sorry you are dealing with this. I would try to call and schedule an appt for two weeks instead of four. Seems crazy they would make you wait so long.
A big thanks for all of the kind words. They want the next ultrasound in four weeks because there should be noticable growth by then. I am trying to stay positive and I tell wee one to grow everyday! I will let you all know how it turns out.

I'm sorry you have to wait so long! I'll definitely be keeping you in my thoughts.
Oh my goodness! That is absolutely terrifying! T&Ps headed your way, and FX that baby is healthy!
Was this your first ultrasound? Is there a chance that they have your dates wrong, and that baby is a bit younger than you expected?
Best of luck to you!
I am wondering the same … OP is this your first scan? Even if you are still off in 4 weeks, as long as you see growth (and no further issues with fluid, etc), I'm assuming they can just say your dates are off right? Am I making sense?
So sorry about this horrible wait. Was the baby measuring on track in previous scans?

I have only have two scans. One at 8 weeks and one at 18. I am hoping that the dates are off and all is well. My belly is still growing, so I will take that as a good sign. 1 week down, 3 weeks to go.....
Fingers and toes crossed for you. When I look at new babies and little kids I am always astounded at the size disparity between them. It makes sense to me that they would start noticing that in utero. They can't all grow at exactly the same pace, surely. Hopefully it's just a blip in the chart and everything works out fine. Just yesterday I had a client in her 20's whose mother was told to abort her on the basis of a medical test that showed something was wrong. Not one but two doctors tried to talk her into it, followed by her own mother. She refused and her daughter was PERFECT. Don't give up
