  • Me and the hubby have DTD several times. We also just decided to DTD every day for 100 days! I'm not on birth control and we don't use condoms. He just pulls out. This has been the way we have done it for 4 yrs. Our DD was planned too not a surprise. I personally wouldn't be upset if I got pregnant again. We plan to start trying in a year anyway.

Like every day for 100 days? Where do you find the time? :-/

this.. would be my personal hell.

    Agreed.

@NorthernLghts‌ I think they say 24 hours, but I'm pretty sure a lot of moms use a smell or taste check. If it smells fine or tastes fine it should be good.

My daughter thinks the world needs to see my boobs. She pulls my shirt down like so on a regular basis
That's funny :-)  DD1 (almost 2) has decided my boobs are now the perfect place to store items.  During church last Sunday, she kept trying to shove her hair bow down there...  During the day, she tries to store toys in there.  Goof.
  • I'm not sure I could keep up with @mommyKT310‌ right now.
Between how exhausted I am, 3 kids (2u2) and DH's work schedule,...I feel like I barely see him. And that's generally to have supper and put the kids to bed.

Now,...before kids, or even after the first one...(a few years after).... I could have competed. ;)
I'm fairly certain there was a time that I had sex every day for at least a year. (And maybe even multiple times a day :D )
  • @Laura8388‌ my premie was the same way! He started the teething drooling early but when his teeth did start coming in they were 2 at a time! Yikes that was hell...

Y'all should move to Nebraska. $1000/month for 2 kids. Suckers!
Or you could live in Kuwait...200/month for 1 kid.

But then you'd have to put up with all the shit I'm dealing with.  It might not be worth it.

  • I had a great dinner out with one of my besties last night. LO was pretty dang good during it too.
I feel like a new person getting out and doing that.
But before I left for the said dinner I was naturally taking pics of Fallyn. I decided it would be smart to stand on the frame of our bed to take a shot from above. Well my foot got caught. Cue major pain and cut and lump.
I dealt with it though dinner and now after being off of it for 6 ish hours I can barely walk.... Dang it!!! Stupid big ass feet always tripping me up!
Ibuprofen and ice for now :(

Ouch, hope your foot feels better.
  • $300 per week is the cheapest I've found. $650 per week is the most expensive. It's just insane. And not really worth it. I sill have no idea what were doing in 4 weeks. Is that irresponsible?
Also LO is grunting a bit but still asleep! She has never gone past 6 am.

My DH is driving me nuts.

Someone just gave us a bumbo seat and I told him we'd have to return it because they're not great for development.  He said I was being crazy and I told him to look it up.

Well, now he's come across this consumers report article that says things that are unsafe.  The bumbo is on their, but so are slings.  He's trying to tell me to stop using my k'tan because it's dangerous.

He's also still bothering me about the gentian violet too.  He just doesn't believe me that it's fine to use on myself and LO -_-

Random-ish question: do you darken the room for daytime naps!

Nope. In fact I make sure it's bright and there's lots of background noise (TV, street traffic, etc). At night it's dark and very quiet.

I don't know if it makes a difference but I figured it can't hurt to try
  • babycaps said:

Nope! I think it helps them differentiate between day and night, so they only have a dark room for night time. We did this for DS1 and he still will nap for 2 hours in the afternoon, and sleeps great at night.

  • Good luck @FarmBoysWife‌ !!

I'm burnt but laying by the pool again anyway. Stupid redhead
  • Good luck @FarmBoysWife‌

    We'll be paying $110/week for daycare, but that's only 2 days/week.

The provider emailed me her summer schedule of days off. There are 6 days I need off this summer, so I emailed my boss last week. She said she would get back to me but didn't yet. One of the days is Friday July 25th. I already asked for this day off since we're going away that weekend, but my boss said no since she already has that day off. I'm just asking again in hopes this is a better excuse.

Nope. And my toddler is rarely quiet. He's always yelling, screaming, pressing every button on every toy that makes noise and throwing the ones that don't.
LO sleeps great during the day. 1-2 hours at a time usually.

At night he has gone 5 or 6 hours, but all of my kids seem to be frequent eaters at night. And they grow like weeds.
In fact, I felt like LO got a little heavier every time I picked him up yesterday.
  • Do you think I could take down a motorcyclist?
They just reved their bike outside my window for 10 minutes... Lo keeps startling. X(

Whats the saying "Hell hath no fury like a woman scored".

Just replace woman with (mother trying to keep her child sleeping and you keep waking up my child with your dang motorcycle"

    Hahahaha

  • My boss wont forbid it but warns me of problems with my employees.

Considering that all my employees love that MH already takes out their trashes for them, stocks beer and milk, and contacts me when there are issues they do like him and I'm sure will appreciate the extra help since we are all stressed with this stupid situation.

Good luck! I hope it works out for you!!

Do longer stretches of sleep at night result in shorter naps in the day?

Eta: seems like a dumb question... My instincts say yes

I guess I should count my blessings: when I go back to work in August, my sis-n-law will be watching LO for $100/week.

My boy is 11 wks today---where did that time go?!?!

We are going to buy a minivan tomorrow. We have one child. It was my husband's idea. He said we need more room for all LO's crap.

A seems to be going through 8-9 week leap and refuses to be put down. And MH is home with a 102 fever. He rarely gets sick but when he does he is completly miserable. Joy!

And on the 100 days of sex, doesn't it make it feel more like a chore to "have" to do it? Doesn't that take the fun out if it?
  • I have to agree with @WoodShopGirl‌ 100 days of "having" to have sex takes the fun out of it, almost to where it becomes meaningless.
Now if it just so happens you get that much action awesome, but planning that you have to have sex every day no thanks.
    And I love sex..

On another note good luck @FarmBoysWife‌ hopefully your H working with you can solve some of the shit that place throws at you. I see no problem with your H working there as long as home life stays there and vice versa. :)
  • Someone had posted awhile ago that jcpenney was selling halo sleep sacks on clearance, ($8) and I just want to say I'm really happy bc I just went and they still had a bunch so I got another; I think I miscalculated what I'm going to need for the summer, at the rate LO is growing!

  • @Laura8388‌ he is so adorable! Love his smiles!

@babylimas‌ I hope the upload works soon! I wanna see pictures. I think I'm secretly in love with you and Will.

  • I need to get my wedding rings sized. They spin freely and I'm so afraid of losing them that I rarely ever wear them.

I had to stop wearing them during pregnancy because they were too tight and my hands kept going numb.
  • @amholley1‌ mia does the same thing! She wants to be a big girl and stand and sit up all the time!

@FarmBoysWife‌ how did that go--grocery shopping.
