@CruiseGirl28 that is awkward.... I don't really have suggestion, but good luck I hope you end up getting to go hang out with family and the awkward is gone.
Thanks. I ended up texting her like 2 hours ago and haven't heard back yet....
We're at my MIL's right now which is like halfway between. But we're about to leave, so I guess we're going home.
I have 3 oz of frozen milk left...that's it!!!!! I can't believe we've gone through everything from our NICU stay. I guess there's more formula I'm our future :S
@CaseAndDave *hugs* I'm glad you're going to talk to your doctor! I would also suggest getting time to do something you want without interruption whether it be a hot bubble bath, walk, shopping, etc. BF is hard work!!! Hang in there! My DH hates crap laying around and moves things on me all the time. It drives me crazy! Have you talked to MIL about her nose level and moving things? We're all here for you!
@CaseAndDave no advice on the anger or mil issues. But as for the friends/boredom issue, are there any breastfeeding groups in your area where you could meet a mom or two who might be interested in doing something at more appropriate times of the day? I've been going to one on Mondays and now walk once a week with one of the other moms. Maybe look for one of those or a moms group? Hope things improve soon though.
@bandteach Sorry that you're having such a rough time. I completely get it! Twins are hard, and I am definitely more overwhelmed with the two than I was with DS1. Throw him into the mix and my house is a disaster, nothing gets done ever!
My twins hate tummy time too, and aren't rolling anytime soon, but today Audrey laughed for the first time and it was so sweet! Just wait, they'll get there!!
@bandteacher I'm sorry things are so rough. I have enough trouble handling one, I can't even imagine handling 2. I think twin moms deserve a lot of credit because, honestly, having twins is one of my fears.
@bandteacher our friends have 3 year old twins and they tell me they have no memories of the first 4 months of their lives. They've blacked it out for their own sanity. So don't think you're alone in your thoughts Twin moms are amazing, I have no clue how you do it!!
I never thought to stop taking stool softeners until like 4w PP. Everything was fine until a couple of weeks ago (9w PP) and my hemis started acting up. I've had bright red blood show up twice since then, once even after I started taking stool softeners again. I'm going to the doctor this week.
Why God, why? I hate having to talk to MH (any anyone) about my BMs.
I had to do the same thing a week ago. It wasn't as awkward as I expected and now I'm really glad I went because I'm finally healing.
I've never asked for permission to nurse anywhere. I just do it! Easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission, right!
I do it wherever too. I've used the waiting room at the dictor's office. They wanted to do a weighed feeding with DS1 a year ago, so they gave me an exam room. Even while waiting for an appointment they have offered an exam room if the waiting room was really busy.
@bandteacher I once thought it would be cool to have twins because i'd be able to have 2 babies at once and be done. Now that I have just 1 child... I realize how insane I was to think that. It takes so much energy to take care of one, I can't imagine taking care of 2!! Seriously you parents of multiples deserve way more credit.
@chphotomama Hugs! I can't believe you had to deal with BSCMIL for a whole week. That's an amazing accomplishment
@bjd316 my dog does this too. The nails won't wake up LO but I now have to take his collar off because of the name/vax tags. They're so much louder than his nails! It drives me nuts. Not to mention, without fail, he has to shake as soon as we go into the bedroom at night to go to bed. So now he only wears the collar when he's going outside.
I've been a bad bumpie for a few days and I'm not really caught up on anything...
But, I'm still experiencing major anxiety, which may or may not be a result of the birth control I just quit taking, LO is cluster feeding, she's still refusing to nurse the right side because of overactive let down, I'm on my period, and I have an effing clogged duct, I saw BSCMIL seven freaking days in a row, and I have a crap ton of laundry to do.
So I'll be back to catch up in a few days. Love you guys! Thanks for reading that run on sentence.
The cluster feeding is probably related to your period, the first few days your supply can suffer from it. It helps if you take a calcium magnesium supplement.
Today the most awful thing happened.. I was pumping and on both bottles I had almost 4 oz each so I was done and got up from the couch and I literally tripped and dropped the damn bottles. All but about 1oz was in the floor. Ugh.
To make it worst I said FUCK very loud and my son ran to me and said "momma you said a VERY bad word"
Ugh..... X(
I'm so sorry for you! sending you some positive vibes!
Its so gorgeous here. But mia's schedule is so off. Idk if its the time change or she's trying to get sick. But she's been taking at least one extra nap these past few days.
My random—I did an at home self tanner application yesterday. It looks okay except for all the streaks on my stomach where Holland leaks while nursing. I also went heavy on my legs & they look pretty Oompa Loompa-esque.
@amdecker1016 Are you on vacation? We are and Jackson's schedule is all effed up. He is great during the day but was fussy and a bear to get to bed last night.

Yes, see mia could sleep all day. I'm trying to keep her as normal as possible (schedule wise). But she wakes up eats and then goes back to sleep. We're doing the newborn thing all over again.
@addisonsmom22 maybe it is a growth spurt, she's 12 weeks thursday and we hadn't hit the three month one yet.

Oh yeah we're having the opposite problem. He wants to stay awake all day. He'll fall asleep in the car on the way somewhere, sleep about 10 minutes, then wake up. So he gets so overtired he won't go to sleep when it's time. He's 15 weeks and I'm pretty sure we already played the 3 month growth spurt game. Good luck!!
Here I am @bunnyfungo! Yes--2u2 is HARD and I haven't been on here in ages. I go back to work next week and will finally have some time again for bumping. Miss you ladies! How's it going for you? I think my itty bitty finally has his reflux under control and that's making a big difference--trying to keep up with the toddler when he was screaming around the clock was, um, well...we'll just say not easy.

Super random, but right now DH and I have 3 kids (no, not pg!). He and I are both 33 years old, DS1 is 3 years old, and the twins are 3 months and 3 weeks.
I drove my moms minivan to the airport to drop my eldest sister and her family off. I kind of liked driving that whip. But by no means will I ever own one

Are people really finding time and energy for sex?? And if so, how?!
We've been averaging about 2-3 times a week since I was able to have sex again. We usually do it right after she has fallen asleep (around 930-10pm). DH has the libido of a 16 year old so I never have to gear him up, and I feel like I got my libido back even stronger than before BFP.
Now that I'm on my laptop and can see siggy's, when did the winners of the M14 awards get their badges? Was there a thread that listed the winners? I feel like I missed something after all the separate voting threads.
@rockopera I would expect to have that many, but it check it regularly to see the gossip. None of it is actually for me, but I did get to keep up on the gossip if which teachers are being fired and which kids are getting kicked out.
Harper shit on me at the office and projectile vomited all day. She doesn't have a fever, but she's super fussy and clingy. I really REALLY hope she feels better after her bath so we can both get some much needed rest.

On another note, wondering what @legallyginger is up to?? Haven't seen her posts lately unless I'm oblivious...
