Lillian (Lily) Caroline arrived rather speedily on 5/15 at 9:05pm (2 days before her due date). I was in active labor for less than 5 hours and pushed less than 10 minutes. She weighed 9lbs even and is 22.5 inches long - a full pound heavier and two inches longer than her big sister was!

Findley Alain was born May 14 at 12:04 pm. Water broke at 4:45 and I was bearlt contacting. He was not tolerating even the smallest contractions. The csection happened so fast I was kinda in shock. He is 7lbs 12ozs of perfection.

Meredith arrived almost faster than we could get to the hospital. She was born on her ovulation-based EDD of May 11, at 4:52 am, and was 6lb 1.7oz, 19". Her need to get here spoiled my plans of a med-laced labor and delivery, and required an episiotomy since they couldn't safely help stretch me quick enough. From onset of crampy contractions that were short but close together to her delivery, it was no more than 4 hours. We skipped most phases of labor really, going from early labor straight to what was likely transition.

Colin Mackenzie arrived weighing 7 lbs 13 ounces at 1:40pm today (May 19th) after a whirlwind induction. Less than 2 hours with minimal oxytocin and it was time to push. 10 minutes of pushing and out he came, a little worse for wear. He broke his arm on the way out because he got twisted and there was no time to straighten him out due to some distress. Birth story to come (there were many ups and downs involved). He's in the NICU for the night for monitoring on his arm due to pain, but we have had time to visit and relax a bit.

Today was my induction day, but Jack had other plans, luckily. Contractions came on fast and strong at 3 min. apart. He was born after 30 minutes of pushing and came into this world on May 17 at 5:42pm weighing 6.14 lbs! What an amazing experience, I feel part of a new womanhood club!

Raith Edward was born 5/19 at 40w6d gestation weighing in at 9 lbs even and 21 1/2 inches long; 15 inch head. Born vaginally after 20 hours of labor and 1.5 hours pushing with a failing epidural. He's in NICU due to breathing distress, possible infection and jaundice. Safe to say he's the biggest baby in there. Team Green now Team Blue! We are in love with our little man! Just waiting for him to get better and go home!

At 40wk 6d, Alexandra Sage arrived 5/20 at 2:44 pm via RCS. 8lbs 14oz of sweet perfection. Almost a full pound heavier than her big sister!

I got to nurse Alex during recovery and things are going well so far. She's agood eater and loves when daddy holds her! Big sister even gave her a kiss already

Samuel Robert surprised us 2 weeks early on May 7th at 2:09 pm weighing 5lbs 10oz and 19 inches long. Active labor was 3 hours with 20 mins of pushing at the end. Smooth labor and delivery with epidural made for a pain free wonderful birthing experience. We love him more than we knew possible!

Cecilia Neoka was born May 12 at 10.41am via scheduled csection and hysterectomy. She was 38w, 8lbs 7oz and 21.5in. Because of the hysterectomy they did a combined spinal and epidural anesthesia. We were in the OR an extra 2 hours after Cecilia was born, during which DH and I took turns doing skin to skin while they finished the surgery. I was able to breastfeed once we got to recovery. Big sister DD1 is having a little hard time adjusting to not having Mommy's 100% attention all the time but she loves her sister and gives her lots of kisses!

Jack Valentine was born May 21 at 2:34pm. He weighed 8 lbs. 10.5 oz and was 21.5" long. He was induced on his due date and had a pretty easy arrival. Went in at 6am to start induction. Once ready I only pushed for 15 minutes. DS1 wasn't sure about little brother at first but soon warmed up and sweetly kept asking to take "baby home." Of course we all adore him!

Henry Edwin arrived 5/21 at 9:51 pm. i went from 0 to 8 centimeters in about 3 1/2 hours and I started transitioning as the anesthesiologist was reading off the risks of the epidural. 5 minutes later he was being placed on my chest! 6 lbs 11 oz, 19" and so sweet.

I got my VBAC!!! Team green turned blue (again) Blake Thomas was born this morning (5/22 - his due date)! 8lbs 7 oz.
Short birth story - labor started at 4am, water broke in early labor at home, admitted to the hospital at 4 cm at 11am. didn't get to 10 until about 11pm. Had planned a hypnobirth, but that didnt do shit. stadol for the pain to take the edge off and pitocin to ramp up contractions. Pushed for 2 hours and needed an episiotomy to get him out! So worth it, but it was the hardest thing I've ever done!

Samuel Thomas was born on Tuesday 5/20 at 6:46pm. 8lbs 12oz, 21 inches long. Was in labor for 23 hours, pushed for a little less than an hour. Sam came out with help from a second degree tear and an episiotomy. We're so in love!!

This is a little late as DD was born a week ago, but we welcomed our little girl Dylan last Thursday 5/15 at 5:50PM, she was a little late at 41w3d. My contractions started on Monday 5/12 but didn't get to 4-6 minutes until Wednesday evening. We went to L&D at 1AM and after getting an epidural and pitocin for several hours, my OB broke my water and within another few hours we were pushing. It took about 2 hours, but she finally arrived weighing 7lb8oz and 20.5" long. The minute that she was born, DH & I could not stop bawling. We were so in love with her the moment we laid eyes on her.

Nolan Lawrence

8 lb 14 oz and 20' inches long

Gestational age 39 weeks and 3 days.

Received epi at 12:30 pm, and it worked like a dream to combat those intense pitocin contractions. Nolan was delivered vaginally nearly 3 hours later after 8 total hours of labor and 3 easy pushes! I had a minor 2nd degree tear which is healing really well.

Our second perfect little prince!

Mom and baby are doing fantastic and will be going home tomorrow to rejoin big brother and the family.
