Parker Grace Anderson. She was born 5/30/14 at 1:51pm. 7lbs 10oz. 20 inches long. Ended up being a drug-free vaginal delivery - not at all what I planned. She's already got dad wrapped around her tiny fingers
Kira Leigh Proctor was born 5/22/14 at 5PM. after a very intense 4 hours of labor and another 6-7 of early labor. things were slow up until my water broke on the yoga ball. it was quite the experience. my MIL was very helpful along with my DH and Doula they helped so much. Mom and baby are home now and well rested she even slept 5 hrs the other night. knocking on wood she stays this way...one can dream!
Brynn Elizabeth born 5/30 at exactly 2pm. 8lbs 13oz and 21 inches. Super fast and easy delivery with one push and no tearing. Much better than with her sister who is exactly 16 months older (born 1/30) :-)
Olive Rose snuck in just under the wire to make her a May baby! Born at 6:15pm on Saturday, May 31st. 8 lbs, 7 oz. 21.75 inches. Vaginal birth with epidural. 1 hour of pushing. Many hours of labor. FTM. IVF pregnancy. We are in love with our miracle baby!
It's a ... GIRL!!! Emily Genevieve arrived on May 22nd @ 3:50 pm, weighing 7 lbs 10.6 oz and measuring 20 inches long. After 20+ hours of labor and over 3 hours of pushing, I avoided an emergency c-section by the skin of my teeth. Emily was born vaginally in the OR on the last push my OB was allowing me before beginning a c-section, with the help of a vacuum extractor thanks to an irregularly-shaped sacrum I never knew I had. Even with the 3rd degree tear, she's oh so worth it! We are just amazed at how much we love her and already can't imagine life without her!
Baby girl arrived 5/23 @ 530pm via C-Section 10 hours after induction was initiated without enough progress. FTM 40+4 She was 8lbs 7oz 19in. Words can't touch the beauty of this new life.
Ryan Thomas was born 5/22 via emergency c-section. You name it, we tried it! We went in at 41 weeks on 5/20. After 4 rounds of gels (8 hours), cervadil (12 hours), a cook catheter and 3 rounds of Misoprostol (12 hours) the doctor finally broke my water and started pitocin. After all that I got to a whopping 4.5 cm and 75% effaced and completely stalled out. So, out he came at 9#14oz, 20.5"! Everyone gasped when he came out, we had no idea he was going to be so big. But, we're completely in love with our chunky monkey!
Lillian Eloise was born at 40 wks + 3, on 5/26 at 1:21pm. 8lbs 8oz, 27 hours of labor, 3 1/2 hours of pushing. It was the most amazing, emotional, and horribly painful experience of my life, but all worth it for this wonderful little girl who is now the center of her dad and I's universe.
Baby Jackson made his arrival on June 3rd at 11:48 am vaginally. 9.5 lbs and 20.5 inches long. I had a small tear and we are having difficulties with breastfeeding, but other than that, all went went.
Hattie Mae born May 31st at 40w2d. She was 6 Lbs 13 oz and 20 in. Over 24 hours of early labor, got an epidural and then went from 3.5-10 in an hour. Doctor arrived just in time to catch in sandals because she was at a picnic.
A little late to the game, but I really want to share!
Lucy Elizabeth arrived on 5/20 at 3:04 am. 41w5d. 7 lbs 13 oz and 20" long. Labor was relatively quick--7 hours from the onset of regular contractions, but only four hours after I realized I was truly in labor (I'd had a few previous episodes of false labor in the last couple weeks). I arrived at the hospital dilated to 7cm and our sweet girl was born just 1.5 hours later via unmedicated vaginal birth, and after only 5 pushes! Love her!!!
Jacob Michael was born on May 18th at 1:52 am after 17 hours of labor but only 30 mid of pushing. He was 7 lbs 11 oz and 20 ins long. Can't believe I am now a mom!!
Samuel Charles didn't want to be a May baby! He was born 6/2 at 12:05am after 3 hrs of pushing and needing the vacuum. He was born at 9lbs 1oz and 21 inches long. We can't believe he's finally here!!
Our son arrived on 5/28, at 41 weeks, 1 day.He weighed 10 pounds, 13 ounces and was 22
and a ¼ inches long.I was able to have
the natural childbirth that I hoped for and I know that our Bradley training,
our awesome doula, DH’s great coaching and a supportive medical staff all
contributed to that. I had second degree tearing, but recovery has
gone well.He is eating well and we
just love him so much.

Sebastian Tomas Agostini born at 41 weeks June 2, 2014 at 1024am. 9 lbs 7.7 ounces 21 inches. I woke up with contractions at 130am. Waited til 330am to call the Midwife and wake up my husband. They were 45-60s and 4-5 min apart. Midwife said maybe I should wait. I was like nooooo I think this is it. I was still in really good spirits and making jokes so they were really surprised when they checked me and I was 7cm!!!! I was just as surprised. His baseline heartrate was low. I made it to 9cm naturally. My bag was bulging so they broke it then to help me to get to 10 that was around 730am. That's when things got real. I felt the urge to push but I wasn't at 10. There was merconium in the fluid and his heartrate decellerated even more. That's when I knew I needed the section. The cord was wrapped around his neck twice so that's that! I got my beautiful boy. Congrats everyone!!!
Charlotte June was born may 29, 2014 at 9:49 pm. She was 7 lbs 14 oz. And 20.75 in long. She was a vaginal birth following a 14 hour induction. Everyone is doing well. I'll post pictures when I finally get around to making a birth story post!
Belated announcement: Baby Katzalia was born 5/26 after scheduled induction. After a long labor (much of which was without medication), and 3.5 hours of pushing, she was delivered with the help of forceps. She was 8 lbs, 14 oz and 22 inches long. We are absolutely in love!!
OK so this is 4 weeks late but .... here goes. Our beloved daughter and first child A.A. was born May 8th at 7:21 AM. 7 lbs 9.6 ounces; 21 inches. Vag. birth, no pain meds, one day past her due date. Induced due to low fluid. Labor started late night may 7th after about 28 hours on cervadil (3 doses) when i was on ambien to rest up for planned pitocin in the morning. So labor was odd but went fast - 1 to 10 cm in about 5 hours - then pushed for about 2 hours (ambien had worn off thank goodness!) and then this amazing perfect little baby was in my arms! No real tearing ; actually felt pretty great after. I love my midwife and LOVE LOVE LOVE my new daughter! 2nd pic is @ 3.5 weeks old.
Hailey Amelia entered the world at 8:06am on 6/5 (40+5) after a 12 hr labor (11 hours at home) and only 10 minutes of pushing! No meds no Epi. Easiest first baby ever. the doctor let DH catch the baby!! 6 lbs 9 oz, 19 inches long. We feel truly blessed.
Our little one- Jackson- arrived on May 31st after 34 hours of labor, 2 epidurals and a surprise c-section! I was 41 weeks. He is beautiful- weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces and was 21 inches long. The most amazing experience of my life. I never knew I could fall in love so quickly. He is amazing and we are smitten!!!
Claire Elizabeth Jane arrived on May 31 just before lunch via induction and then a quick vaginal birth. 6 lbs 13 ozs and very alert (she was one day old in the attached picture)She is going to be tall like her daddy at 19.5 inches long. She has been a great eater and sleeper so far and has definitely captured our hearts.
Adelyn Patricia arrived screaming into this world on June 3rd at 5:44pm. Got induced Sunday night and had her Tuesday... Long, emotional labor but worth every second! Born vaginally with epi, 7lbs 13oz and 21inches. We are head over heels in love with her and couldn't be happier ❤️
Stella Fianna joined us May 18th, 2014 at 12:20 PM. My water broke at 6:30 AM and I took my sweet time getting to the hospital even though I was at an 8 when they admitted me (still walking, talking, and laughing which is why I expected them to tell me I was still at a 1...). I don't know if you could consider labor easy but it was a night and day difference compared to my first. Mild contractions the whole way, then had a bunch of painful ones and got the epidural...but was still feeling everything. I was at a 10 and ready to push at that point and I did it in one solid push. 8 lbs, 12 oz, 18 inches and NO COMPLICATIONS. yaaaaay.
So very late but still want to post (also told in FFFC thread that I was posting to that day)
Baby Girl Lucy was born Friday May 16 at 8:10pm, 7lb 8oz. We had a very fast labor, I didn't realize anything was happening until 6pm when my water broke, even then I assumed we had a few hours and sent my husband to take care of the dog. A neighbor came by to sit with me, she is an RN and saw that I needed to go to the hospital ASAP. So I went to nearest hospital in an ambulance and Lucy was born soon thereafter. Didn't have my OB there, there was no time to get to the hospital I planned to deliver at, but my doula did make it for which I am extremely grateful. Uncomplicated vaginal birth, and Lucy is happy and healthy and now snoozing next to me in her bouncy chair.
Fergus Joseph was born at 4:04 a.m. May 30th weighing 8lbs 4oz. He was 13 days behind schedule and delivered via emergency c-section because he wasn't handling contractions well.
Summer Elizabeth was born 5/16 after a pleasant (really!) induction. 3 messed up epidural tries later and I felt everything but my legs, haha. Pushed 14 minutes and she was here at 9:59pm. 7lbs 12oz and 19.5 inches long. She's really just the best.
One day when I have 3 years I'll give you the saga of the post-baby spinal wet tap problems.
