Someone slashed one of the tires on our Tahoe last night at my office and the transmission on our other vehicle started going out this morning when DH was driving home from work.
I went to my first Babywearing It'll meeting. It was fun, but B got hungry and fussy so I pulled out my nursing cover and NIP for the first time ever. I had a bottle packed but I just wanted to try. I know NIP is supposed to make you feel all empowered. I just felt awkward

The first couple times (with DS1) felt super awkward, but now it's just normal and I don't even think about it! There is just no way I could bring extra stuff like bottles, cooler etc with all the crap I already carry for the twins and DS1. Keep trying. It gets so much easier!!
So our entire basement flooded last night. Our pump failed and now we need to get a new pump, and have water lines fixed. Oh and the cost of removing everything from the basement to get it aired out. And the plumber got clay dirt all over my carpet runner.

@aenordan so sorry about your basement! That sucks!
@nlane0723 and your tires....UGH. Why are people asses?
@bunnyfungo congrats! House buying is super exciting.
@AriaAmante143 congrats on your NIP adventure! It does get easier.
My random for the day is this picture. Left breast's output on the left; right's on the right. Whaaaaaaaaat??? Left has always been an overachiever compares to right but this difference is extreme.

Mine are like that sometimes. Righty is always an underachiever though.
@kirotea that's hilarious. I do the same. She makes eye contact and it's like a stare down in hopes that she'll just close her eyes. Usually she doesn't.

My dogs bark like crazy when DH or anyone for that matter comes to the door. No biggie except it always happens when DD is nursing and it startles her so badly ever time.

@Sanibel21 As long as it's during one sitting it's fine to pump into the same container. It causes problems when you add different temperature milk together, so don't pump one side, refrigerate it for a while then add the other side. You can also combine from multiple pumping sessions if you refrigerate both and wait to combine until they are both cold.
@WisconsinCheese12 I hope you find it. I would usually wear my ring 24/7- in the shower, bed everything.
I finally put them on a couple of weeks ago, and now I hate wearing them all the time. I feel like I'm always washing bottles/pump parts or doing something that's annoying with rings.
@CHPhotoMama it's a bit invasive as it's implanted in your uterus. Heavier bleeding but in my case nothing to write home about. Can be taken out at any time. Does not impact future fertility. Mine was taken out on CD#3 and I conceived later that same cycle.
You might possibly be interested in the hormonal one. Localized hormones so it tends not to cause the same side effects as pills. Designed to last 3-5 years.
Ooh, @CHPhotoMama I second @theluckiest9 's suggestion of charting! I don 't have my cycles back yet so it's not a good option for me but is totally a good choice otherwise.

Made my heart melt until he came back 5 minutes later and said "oh I forgot, grandpas my best buddy, but you can still make my lunch"
This kid is gonna win husband of the year someday!
That sucks.

@WisconsinCheese12 they're actually about the same size, unbelievably enough....
@kirotea I do the same thing. Except that it never works!

I told my husband this too...he still hasn't bothered. Just fine buddy, I don't really want sex anyway.
We're fighting anyway, so it's not like I care that much right now.
1) condoms in bulk via amazon prime = awesome.
2) holy shit (aw warning). J rolled from belly to back on Monday. She's 2 months. Wtf. No. But yea!(?) 5 times in one day. Hasn't done it since.
There isn't enough wine in the world to fix this day.
Okay, off to turn a sheet cake into a chef's coat. Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
