Allison usually wakes between 6 and 7, feeds, we rock/read and she goes back to sleep. Not today. She has been up since 6:20. Her MOTN feed was from 3:15-4, then I pumped. So I'm tired. I have a fucking migraine, and I am at my wits end. She has been fed, changed multiple times, burped, and given gripe water because she was so gassy and her poor little body was so tight. She has been rocked and swayed and swaddled. We just finishe a formula feed because the boob wasn't getting it done. I am out of ideas and at my wits end and put her in her crib so I wouldn't snap, where surprisingly, she's calm.
I am fucking PISSED at MH. All he had to do this morning was heat the breast milk bottle while I soothed her, and I asked him to please clean the bottle. He bitched and said he didn't have time and while he put it in the sink he left it dirty. Dude! What happened the to 15 minutes you said you would add to your morning routine to give me a hand? Would it have been so fucking hard to take 2 minute to clean a bottle, something I often can't do because this kid doesn't nap??
Yes, I am probably overreacting because my head hurts and my nipples are sore and my back aches and I can't warm up. But he's always asking how he can help and when I finally say how, he says no.
Fucker.
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me. You made my wedding day complete.
My cousin's girlfriend had a baby. She was saying on FB how she hopes they aren't spoiling a 48 hour baby because the baby doesn't want to sleep in its bassinet.
I said to my cousin, you can't spoil a newborn, don't worry.
Then she replied back, well when we get home she will be on a strict schedule......
SHE'S 48 HOURS OLD. What schedule can you possibly put her on?

I just shared this with Joe and he said, "Good luck with that." Ha
I need some excitement. We have an hour and a half car ride, and the baby's sleeping. I'm going to lurk on some other boards. I'll report back if I find anything good.
My car is finally fixed from the stupid GM recall, but after driving a loaner SUV for two months I don't want it back (
I think I *may* have convinced DH it's a good idea to trade my car at the end of the month for a mid sized SUV...so excited! I'm sick of my tiny 11 year old sedan!!
Anyone else feel like their baby is a ticking time bomb? He fell asleep so I laid him on the couch kind of next to me. Hes awake now and just laying there being good and farting a lot.. Im afraid to move because he will see me and I am so tired of a crying baby

Good luck @AriaAmante143 ! I love my CRV and wouldn't want to go back to driving a sedan!
I'm thinking CRV or Toyota RAV4, maybe Highlander or Venza if we can find a good newer used one . I've never been car shopping before, I'm pretty pumped about it
Guise. I guess it's my turn. I'm on my way to my hometown an hour and a half away and just heard on the radio we have a tornado watch this evening covering the whole way between home and there I can count on one hand the number of times we've had tornado alerts in my whole life. The watch starts right when I wanted go be heading home, so there's a good chance LO and I will have to stay the night (DH is at home). I've never been so happy to be EBF otherwise I'd be screwed lol
LO got his shots today. He cried at the second needle, but stopped as soon as the nurse was done. He's been perfectly happy since. And now is sleeping on my chest because I'm too tired to take him upstairs to the pnp.
And amazingly enough, DS1 is napping now too, so I can zone out for a bit too.
Thanks ladies. It's so weird because it's beautiful outside right now, sun shining, very few clouds. So I'm hoping the storms that are coming have time to dissipate before thy make it here.
- They ride a dirt bike up and down the road and sidewalk doing wheelies without a helmet on. I watched one guy nearly lose it. - They sit and rev the engine on the dirt bike AND a Harley (not sure who owns that) for hours a day... - They have parties every night (when the weather is warm) drinking beer in the driveway being really loud until sometimes 2 or 3 am. (We can't leave the windows open at night) - They seem to have 5 or 6 cars, but only 2 spaces on the driveway for 2 properly. (They park 2 correctly, one sideways across the bottom, one on the road below the last, and one in front of my house....every.day)
I can understand why the people that owned our house before us wanted to move. @-)
I used the search function and read on how to use that bulb suctioner...and may I just say that using it made me feel worse than anything else had! She hated it, and I didn't get any snot out. Boo! I'm gonna bath it up with her a la @FarmBoysWife style tonight & hopefully that will help.
Ps. @CHPhotoMama everyday I become more baffled by your BSCMIL. She really just takes the crazy cake.
There is a measles outbreak in my area (Edmonton). So far 9 confirmed cases in the city. The most recent locations they are warning people that they may have been exposed includes Unit 33 in the hospital I work at. That is one of the post-partum units. Directly across from our Level II NICU. The only way to get to U33, where the unvaccinatable babies are, is the same hallway you would take to the NICU, where the unvaccinatable sick babies are. I'm really hoping that there isn't any fall out to any of the babies because of it! So crazy!!
It's been a great day here. Both babies decided that they were each taking 1 30 min nap this afternoon/evening and that's it. No amount of 5S worked and nursing quieted them for awhile, but they've been so upset and over-tired. I also had a headache that wouldn't quit. Thank goodness DS1 actually took his nap today!
Later I stepped outside to bring DS1 in and the dog ate our dinner off the counter and puked it right back up. Guess it's frozen pizza and late dinner for us.
So we're at the "bar" at the hotel watching the Bruins game. Wicked small world, someone Joe knows shows up. I told him to stay and that I'm gonna take Isla back to the room and watch the game there.
Well the bartender put my beer in a plastic cup and topped it off for me.
@Missanniewc82 glad it missed you! What area are you in? (If you don't mind)
I just got home and didn't come through any rain, but the watch is in effect til 9pm??
Hope everyone else stays safe!
@bennieangel As soon as I heard the watch alert I was running down in my head what all options I had at each if the places I was going and made a mental note to take lo's car seat with me everywhere so I could cover him with it. This mom business is crazy!

On another note, I'm cringing at my incorrect usage of their/there/they're. I'd like to blame autocorrect but I think it was more space cadet. Hmmm

I totally went and risked waking Colton for a hug and a kiss after that one. I couldn't imagine having that happen
