I've ran about 24 miles in the past 9 days. On a streak! Every time I run I do 4-5 miles. So glad E is cooperating in the Y's nursery.

I made myself a piece of leftover pizza for lunch. Set plate on ottoman so I could reach for something. Lost my balance. Did full-on ass-plant onto my pizza. Now my ass is full of pizza and the pizza on the plate isn't looking too good. Oops.

I am working, but I would much rather be home as I have a billion things that need to get done before we leave for vacation on Thursday morning.

I've been so busy these last few weeks trying to settle into the new house before the baby girl comes. I'm paranoid I'll go into labor with boxes upon boxes of shit unpacked all over our house. And I've been busy training a temp at work to take over for me while I'm on leave. So I've been MIA around here, and I'm happy to be back!

I'm super excited about our new house -- every room we unpack, the place feels more like our home. My temp is an idiot, and I hope he bumbles and screws up his way through my leave so my boss can maybe begin to appreciate that we're not all plug-and-play in my department. And I'm anxious for baby Nora to get here, but I'm hoping she stays comfy in my ute until her due date, because I scheduled my leave to start a full week and a half before then. I could use some down time before my life turns into a whirlwind again!

I'm off today but working a few hours OT since I couldn't Saturday. Decided to work while B naps. I laid her down at 5 after 11. Munchkin is still sleeping!!!

Maybe a Monday confession. I acted like a total biotch to my man all day Saturday and I'm really ashamed. I told him I didn't want to cook or clean all weekend, which is exactly what I ended up doing because he invited his family over (15 people). It ended up being really fun and I felt like a total brat! Plus his mother is a sainte... she has kept the girls several times and does so much for us. I think Mother's Day makes me a crazy B.

My FIL and his wife drove up from Texas really quite randomly and arrived at our house on Saturday afternoon in their RV with their four large, hairy dogs. So my house has seven dogs in it right now. And I. am. livid. However, to keep my blood pressure down and to keep things as cordial as possible, I have actually not gotten as pissy with DH as I want to and/or should. I've limited myself to a few shitty comments and acts of passive-aggression. But I'm in nesting mode, and the dog hair is driving me insane. Not to mention, I'm -- at best -- two weeks from giving birth, so the invasion of space by wacky in-laws and their menagerie of hairy animals was not welcome at the moment.

Oh no @Ziegeficker! I'm so sorry! My only question is... whyyyyyy???? I would also be absolutely livid, but it sounds like even your hubby didn't know about it. How crappy of them to drop in like that, WITH critters. Rude!

Dumbish question but do diapers expire? I have half a case of Huggies size 4 diapers from Costco that Wesley is constantly peeing out of so we have moved up to size 5 and have no leaks for the last three days since moving, but can I save the others for baby #2? We are not planning on TTC#2 until next year? I have tried to give them to three different friends who have kids younger than mine and all of them looked at me in horror when I said they were Huggies and said no thankyou. I had no idea Huggies were so bad. I was going to give them to them for free! I really don't want to throw them away. So O12 do they expire?

I was late this month and almost had a panic attack! I guess I know how I feel about a third right now. I am finally gettin close to a happy weight and we are good financially. I realized i am content with our family size. I still think down the road I may want a third but right now I'm good! It's weird I never thought I would feel like this.

@NeedUtonite‌ get a travel aquadoodle and Melissa & Doug reusable sticker book, they cling to windows so if the house you are renting has a sliding glass door they are endless fun. our hotel balcony door was covered in them on vacation. ACmoore sells the sticker book for $5.99 then you can probably use the 40% off coupon.

B is eating chickpeas for dinner. I gave her some chicken with it but all she wanted to eat was the chickpeas. So I gave up on the chicken and handed her a bowl of chickpeas.

I really miss DH. Yesterday we went to our friends' house to meet their new puppy. It was just my friend at first, but then her H (who is also Navy and works with my H) came home in uniform. E ran over to him saying "Daddy, Daddy!" It just hurts a bit that he doesn't really know his daddy now and won't until November. My heart is just sad.

It's really lonely, ladies. I hate this. And we're only 1/3 of the way through.

awww i'm so sorry. Are you able to skype or anything at all?

Yeah, lately we have because he's in port right now but that usually is only once a month or so. I get to Facebook chat with him almost daily but obviously that doesn't help the boys. Even when we Skype, DS1 has no interest in talking to DH. He just runs away. Emmett will babble and smile/squeal. It mostly sucks that their relationship is stalled for so long.

my heart is breaking for you. Hopefully the summer will go by super fast and he will he home before you know it. Huge creepy internet hugs to you! You are a amazing mom to your cute little boys and they are lucky to have you. And we are here for you whenever needed. Even if it's just a listening ear or a big virtual hug. Hope you can Skype with your hubby soon

Yeah I'll be back with my parents for a month mid June to mid July. And again for a couple weeks in September for another cousin's wedding. It's hard there though because we don't have E's crib and he constantly climbs out of the pack n play and opens their doors (handles not knobs.) I sort of want to stay here in our own beds and with our own stuff, but I want the company desperately.
