I finally had my LH surge yesterday so i'll be transferring one of my 5day blast frosties on Thursday!

QOTD: George Clooney - he's so dreamy!! He gets better with age! And he's a good actor to boot!

For woman I love Julia Roberts - I think she's sexy in her confidence and that she's seems so real!

Good morning Blossoms!

I took a wondfo yesterday (4dp transfer) and it was negative. I am trying to hold onto hope that it was just too early and that the wondfos aren't very sensitive. I plan on testing tomorrow with a FRER. My beta isn't for another week (5/19), there is no way I could go that long without testing. No beta or bust for me.

QOTD: This is hard for me. My answer will change based on the day. George Clooney is definitely one that has aged well. I really like Chris Hemsworth. He's beautiful and has a sexy accent.

FX for all of you ladies! AF finally came for me yesterday, so I'll get word on the timing of ET soon. Excited, nervous, and working on replacing negative thoughts with positive ones!

QOTD: After Breaking Bad, I have to admit Aaron Paul is my #1. SO cute! As far as women go, I like Sofia Vergara's attitude (and, of course, she's super hot).

Congratulations @SuperPsi!!!! What a fantastic Mothers Day indeed!!!

I can't believe that I've moved up a group?!?! Am I actually priming now??? This journey has been so long to get to this point that it still doesn't really feel real yet! Estrace is kicking my ass with the side effects, but AF should be here in a few days and hopefully I won't have too many s/e from the stims? Gonal-F hasn't bothered me (for IUI) in the past, so here's hoping! No word yet on meds coverage, but we're moving ahead regardless. Thank goodness for that HELOC!

QOTW: Antonio Banderes still does it for me. Channing Tatum is also a nice piece of man-meat, even if it makes me feel like a cougar Sofia Vergara is just gorgeous on the inside and out!

ETA: I just checked how old Channing Tatum is and he's the same age as me? Stupid good genes making him look way younger!!! At least it helps me feel a little better about not cradle-robbing him?

I was so determined to stay strong and go beta or bust, but my emotions got the best of me and I POAS yesterday at 5dp5dt and got a BFP! I couldn't believe it. I POAS this morning again and it was positive as well. So relieved for now and hoping for a strong beta on Thursday.

Im in the 2ww and it's killing me, I have not tested and my beta is Wednesday morning. I feel fine, staring to feel like AF is coming soon so I'm getting really bummed but still holding onto hope.

Hmm tough call Channing Tatum is def up there, I used to love Paul Walker :-( sad. My girl crush is for sure Charlize Theron.

Nothing new to report for me. I stop BCP in a few and will be waiting for AF. Things should be starting for me next week. I turn 40 this Saturday, which just seems so weird to me. I remember telling my husband when we got married we would try for kids until I was 40 then I was done, but I am not done! Hopefully 40 will bring me good luck!

QOTD - I love George Clooney - so fine! Plus I love Ben Affleck and Matt Damon!

Day 7 of stims for me and I'm starting to feel it big time. I'll be going in for monitoring every day this wk - its looking like trigger on Wednesday night and ER on Friday if all goes well. Trying not to get my hopes up!

Qotd- I'm not going to lie, I love looking at Zac Efron- if only he were taller though! And I have a girl crush on Charlize Theron as well, she's gorgeous and hilarious!

Good morning ladies! I had my ER on Saturday and they retrieved 10 eggs. Our first fert report went well-9 were mature and 8 successfully fertilized. However, my RE changed the plan and is now doing a freeze all on day 5 after PGD testing (see my frantic post about it last Friday). I was shocked and disappointed but I have to trust him. Now we are just hoping and praying that we have a healthy one to transfer in July!

Until then I'm dealing with major bloat. It's better today but I think I gorged myself with too many carbs over the weekend!

QOTD: I love Channing Tatum and Ryan Gosling.

FX to all you ladies in the 2WW!

I had my retrieval on Friday. 13R, 13M and 9 fertilized normally. I will have to do an FET (hopefully in June) as my progesterone level was too high. As of today, I have one 4-cell, one 6-cell and 5 8-cell. Two didn't make it. I won't get another update until Wednesday letting me know what they were able to freeze. Keeping my FX that at least a few make it to freeze. So nervous!

AFM: no news... today is 4dp5dt. So I am just waiting. Beta is the 20th... going beta or bust.

Hi all. I am still waiting to hear back from my nurse about whether or not the lab can do the FET on May 28. Our plan is to continue with med cycle as if May 28 is a sure thing, so I am off BCPs now & started estrogen patches. If the lab cannot do May 28, we'll just be out for the cycle. So nerve wracking!!! As it turns out, I do not think we could have really waited the 10 more days for the FET that was originally suggested. I was seriously spotting on Friday despite still being on BCP and it was more than spotting by Saturday... So I'm thinking my AF would have happened through the pill, even if they kept me on it, which would have compromised a transfer 10 days later than originally planned, anyway -- despite the nurses assurance that all we had todo was keep me on the pill longer to delay the cycle. What a mess! I should know tomorrow what is going to happen.

Hi ladies! I have one more monitoring appt tomorrow and then transfer is Wednesday. By the next check in, I'll be in the 2WW! For some reason, I'm much calmer than I was for my last transfer but I think it's because I'm realistic about the expectations now.

I POAS at 9dp5dt and BFN. Official beta isn't until Wednesday so I have to chug along on my meds. We have a bit of insurance money left, so I'll do one more retrieval and start hounding my RE about changing the protocol and adding blood thinners and endometrial scraping.

Congrats to the BFPs and good luck to all ladies in the 2WW.

AFM, I went for my CD5 monitoring on Saturday and I had 3 follies and my E2 was 124! That's actually the best I've been for CD5 in all my cycles. I go in again tomorrow for CD8 so I'm hoping that more follies pop up.

Anyone use the "extra" in the gonal-f rediject pens? I did when it was the old style pens last year because it would stop at whatever was left, but the rediject lets you put in any dose even if it's not available. I keep forgetting to ask my nurse if they allow it. I'm afraid I won't get enough even though it says 1026IU in a 900IU pen.

QOTD: I like the whole tall, dark and handsome thing. So definitely, Clive Owen. But I'm definitely a softy for Ryan Gosling too, ever since he was in "Young Hercules."

OMG!! It was good to see so many BFPs!! Congrats to you all.

AFM, no update... just taking estrogen shots for now. But the days do seem to be going by a little faster. Im due to start Lovenox and Predisone on Friday, and my next monitoring appointment is Sunday. So hopefully all is well... and transfer will be on schedule 5/23

QOTD: Right now Im stuck on pretty boy Michael Ealy. But I use to have this thing for Johnny Deep... more for is swag than looks though.

@leggyjeggy if you turn the dial to more then is left in the pen - i believe what happens is it will stop once you are out of meds and whatever number is left if how much you need to put in from the next pen. So if you need 350 but there is only 300 in the pen the dial should stop at 50. Unless that's the old style?

Wowza all you BFPs! Congrats to you and squeezes and beer for those that it didn't happen for this cycle. We transferred 2 - 8 cell 10% fragmented embies on Saturday. So, you can move me to the 2WW. I am not sure if I have any frosties or not. I FINALLY found out that they all arrested last time due to fragmentation. I'm not holding my breath on this round for frozen ones - so if it does happen - it will be icing on the cake.

Also - got results of an abdominal MRI. I've been in so much pain. I wanted to make sure my tumor hadn't returned (I had it removed twice in 2004 and 2005 and it was caused by hormones in BCPs). Since being all juiced up for all of this since October - just had a sneaking suspicion that it was back. It wasn't - but got word that carrying may not be in my cards. I don't know how that works since they already transferred 2. **sigh**. Two liver re-sections. One giant liver. All organs are backwards and upside down. Squish in there embies!!!! Fight for room! Move that Texas-sized liver out of the way!

QOTD: (don't think I'm crazy)......I would SO NOT kick Vince Vaughn out of bed. I think he's boy next door hot and soooo damn funny. I would just like to have one lunch with him. Followed by dinner. And then drinks. And then bar hopping. And then breakfast.......

I had my baseline appointment on Friday with a mock transfer and blood work. Everything looked good so I started Follistim on Saturday. I go in for blood work in the morning.

QOTD: I have a thing for men with accents. Colin Farrell and Benedict Cumberbatch are definitely on my radar. I also have a serious girl crush on Amy Adams.

I am back from Mexico!!!

Congrats to all the BFP's while I was gone and hugs to all who need one!

I went in for monitoring today for my FET cycle and my lining is nice and thick (13.7) and my ovaries are quiet. I am getting a call soon from the nurse with my next instructions.

Ok... After a scheduling scare and a long weekend, I am officially back in May. My FET #1 will be May 28 -- assuming my lining looks good on ultrasound and all. We've adjusted my med schedule for the earlier transfer, but it still might be cutting it close. I guess I'll be thinking nice happy, thick lining thoughts for the next couple of weeks. :-)
