Here's my random: for some reason, all day yesterday, I kept thinking that @mztwilson and @mtgrizgirl were the same people. So I was extremely confused at how this person gave birth and got married...I just thought she was super human! Anyways congrats to both you ladies

I don't keep up on celebrity news or reality TV stuff, but for some
reason Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher really bugs me. I'm
sure they're lovely people but god they just seem so obnoxious!

Her interview on Ellen annoyed me when she said something like she's planning on giving birth naturally because she wants to "do it right".

---why do I even bother with quotes---
this. I love them as a couple because that 70s show is a guilty pleasure but she definitely rubbed me the wrong way saying "I did this to myself, I might as well just do it right." (referring to no epidural) step off your high horse. it sounded so judgey to me

YUCK. I actually quite like her (and them together) but this statement? Gross.

YES! I just watched the interview and that's what led me to bitch about her haha. So obnoxious!! And she reminded me of Kelsgirl with the whole "hehe I love pickles sooo much". Rolling eyes.
I'd like an honest perspective on this situation...
I'm a teacher. We do not have air conditioning in our building. It's been in the mid 80's the past few days... and the classrooms have been in the low to mid 90's (the room I'm in right now is registering 93). I've been dealing with headaches, lightheadedness, and swelling, I am sure due to the heat. I was considering calling my OB for an excuse to leave on afternoons where the temperature is expected to be this high. Is this a valid request, or do you think it'll come off looking like I'm just trying to get out of work? I don't want to seem like I'm being a baby, but the heat is killing me.
@Savvy122 You're not being a baby, that's freaking ridiculous there's no A/C! If my kid went there I'd be pissed to have him sit in a 93 degree classroom too. I think it's a very valid request, especially since it's only going to get hotter.

Thanks. It's pretty common not to have A/C around here - districts can't justify the cost since it would only be used a handful of times in May, June, and September. It is what it is and generally you just have to suck it up and deal with it. I just don't feel like dealing with it at nine months pregnant!

Can you bring a fan in at least?
**STUCK IN A BOX**
I could... but I travel from classroom to classroom, so I'd have to transport the fan with me.
I just got surprised by my coworkers with an awesome baby shower! My work BFF had kind of hinted to me before that they might be planning something but I had no clue it was going to be TODAY - and - they had my husband in on it and he was there yelling surprise with them when I walked in! They got us our infant carseat and a bunch of books to start off LO's library with! Such a sweet surprise.
Yesss! so glad it is Friday. Work is shitty but...... I will be pregnant twerking to Luke Bryan tonight and loving it sooo much.
This day needs to hurry up already
@mtgrizgirl DH and I have been married for 2 years next month (on my due date, funny enough) and I still haven't gone and gotten a new social security card! Shame on me... lol @CAMag YAY!!! I'm so excited for you guys! Can't wait to see pics!!!
As of yesterday I was dilated to a 3!!! Woo hoo!!! My OB said any time now!
I got everything finished that NEEDED done like my finals and finishing up the baby stuff. Got my hospital bag packed and ready and now we just wait! Hopefully we won't be waiting to much longer!
My office threw me a surprise shower today too! I kind of knew it was going to happen, but I was still overwhelmed with appreciation for the work and generosity they put into it! They gave us some adorable little outfits, a fantastic diaper cake and a whole bunch of gift cards. And cake!
The Hubs ordered the jogging stroller I wanted, it will be here Tuesday. I'M SO EXCITED! Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets super excited about getting certain baby items.
I mentioned this in the Friday appt thread, but I'm dilated to a two, which I know means very little at this point, but my BH are also getting very crampy and coming more often. I'm excited at the prospect of going into labor on my own this time!!
Damn I wish I had a Step Brothers gif for this... DID WE JUST BECOME BEST FRIENDS?! Yup!!
Of course you can!! I will make a note of who to include on our zoo adventure when the time comes!!
YES!! Instant playmates for our LOs!
@SarahS11 - where at in Omaha? As in Millard, Benson, Dundee, Midtown, Papillion... I'm Millard across from Wersphan(sp?) Lake/ Chalco Recreation Area
Just sayin, DH didn't tell me till after he was already there that he was helping his friend move. His ass better be home soon with food, this momma is hungry! >:/
I was just complaining about the constant movement and baby violence I have been feeling and DH said "our job is to make monies for him so we can buy him everything he needs and his job is to wiggle, we are all doing great at our jobs". It made me laugh a lot, love it when he makes everything better

That's adorable I'll have to remember that for the next time babyA kicks me in the bladder or babyB kicks me in the ribs lol
@otter1103 I've had my double BoB since December. Using it is in my top ten reasons I'm excited for this baby.
How early are you able to use it for a baby? I was all excited for mine but now I'm reading they have to be either 6 months or a year old, so it's not like I could use it any time soon.
@BrightEyes112 We have the car seat conversion kit, so I will be walking with it as soon as I feel up to it. My friend who is a mega runner was using it with the baby fully reclined and supported by blankets at 6 weeks. She stuck to flat terrain until baby had more head control. I'm going to play that by ear and see how LO is with their head.
