  • Um guys....I just microwaved a chocolate pudding pack for about 20 seconds. I just discovered the key to life.
Have you ever had a pudding pack right out of the fridge (when it's ice cold)?  That's my favorite.  Mmm

  • Tom Cruise as Stacey Jaxx is strangely hot and sexy. Much hotter than stage Stacey and actual Tom Cruise.

    Spike is also hot.

I'm less concerned about Adam Levine's hair in that picture and more worried about where his eyes went.

I just cannot get on board with Adam Levine or Tom Cruise. They are just kind of meh IMO.
I'm with you. I'm really not all that attracted to men who are on the more "feminine" side.
Yep. I need a man's man. Although Top Gun is my all time favorite movie and TC is drool worthy in it, IMO.

  • Looks like we will be car shopping. Our insurance has said it will total my car. Waiting to hear back from the guy's insurance since I think we'll want to go through them for everything. Ugh...we just paid my car off! It was going to be so nice to have no car payments  :((
That so stinks! Hopefully they give you a good settlement!

  • Anyone else being greeted by people by being called "Fatty"?
    No?

Guess it's just me. My Father and brother think it's hiiiiilaaaarious to call me this when they see me.

I'm going to start calling my Father a "brain damaged Vietnam vet" and my brother a "crunchy Obama lovin' VW fucker." think that'll go over well?
    :D

I may be a little sensitive these days.
My dad makes a comment every time he sees me about how I've really let myself go or I better start doing more crunches. It bothers me a little, but I know he means well and just doesn't know how to talk to pregnant women.

Nooooo.....no no no no no. I like my pudding COLD.

And on that note yesterday I ate two pudding packs for dessert and I looked at the expiration and it says 2015. Who the hell leaves a pudding pack long enough for it to sit in their pantry for TWO YEARS??

And apparently I can't do math -- don't tell my work. 2015 would be a year from now.

  • So UPS just dropped off a high chair. (The same one I creeped off my registry last week). There is ZERO info on it. There isn't a shipping box, just the high chair's own box, and our address is just smacked on the side over the dimensions of the high chair. I have no idea who sent it. This is so weird! Im going to have to ask around so I can thank the person... but where the heck is any of the normal paperwork???

PS my aunt goes 'well. If it's the one you want, you're welcome. If its not... wow that's so weird!' Haha
  • I AM BLIND. IT WAS TAPED TO THE SIDE OF THE BOX I DID NOT LOOK AT.

Thank God I didn't go asking everyone yet...

This happened to us last time around.  A stroller showed up with no info on who actually got it for us.  I mentioned it to my mother and a few other people and one of them figured out who it came from.  I don't know why they wouldn't include the purchaser on any of the information!

    Quotes are messed up:

I've seen bits and pieces, but never sat through the whole movie.  I've also never seen Risky Business, I just know it from the scene where he dances.  It took me up until 2 years ago to see the Godfather movies.  I'm good with current movies, mostly, but there are so many classics I have yet to see!
Risky Business is only worth it for the train scene.  Then again, this is coming from someone who was finally taken off of pelvic bedrest only to have her DH do something to his back running the Tough Mudder the following day.  At least I thought ahead and got some that morning before he went out.
  • Top Gun is a great movie!

warm pudding is only good when it's homemade.

As much as I devour chocolate (especially cookies with chocolate), one of my favorite desserts of all time is bread pudding.
there are two motivations in sports, which is yours?

Yes!  We actually had a pudding bar at our wedding.  Rice pudding, banana pudding, bread pudding, etc...  The bread pudding was the best part.
  • I'm so frustrated with people. I may actually break down and cry if one more person says "OH! I'm sure you are having a boy! It has to be a boy since you already have a girl!"

It makes me feel like, what is it exactly about my girl that isn't enough to the point where I have to have a boy to compensate? What is that about?

I'm so sick of it. My mom and my MIL are the worst about it, but especially my mom. She insists that since I am carrying just like she did with my baby brother that this must be a boy. No matter how many times I say that my OB has said second pregnancies are usually carried lower she insists it's a boy.

I've been so excited about being "team green". I've been looking forward to the moment DH tells me we have a daughter or a son since I was six weeks pregnant (24 weeks almost!). Now I am so frustrated I just want to say open the stupid effing envelope so I can shut people up one way or the other.

Sorry you're getting frustrated about it.  If it makes you feel any better, we already have a son, so we're getting the opposite comments.  I guess the idea that someone could be happy with having their kids all the same sex, or that they REALLY DON'T CARE because it isn't that important. It's the stupid comments like that that make me even firmer in my stand to be team green.

What is with people stopping me to ask me a work question as I'm on my way to the bathroom. I will literally be right outside the door or obviously headed in that direction and someone will come chasing me down and be like, "oh, hi - I just have a quick question!" I finally put a stop to it today and told him, "I'm headed to the bathroom. Catch up with me in my office in a few minutes or send me an email." It annoyed me even before I was pregnant and now it's just making me ragey.
Oh gosh, I couldn't imagine. If I decide it's time to go to the bathroom, then it is time to go...there's no stopping me. I probably would have peed on the floor while telling him that it could wait. I was in the middle of our history lesson today and LO started rolling on my bladder. I set my book down and said, "Time for a break! Whisper for a minute!" and tried not to run out of my classroom haha. Barely made it.

  • Oh, and our first dance at the wedding was a silly serenading each other of "you've lost that lovin feelin". Yeah. No.
  • You guys and the cold pudding are weird. All my pudding products need to be warm and delicious. Same with key lime or lemon meringue pie and cheese cake. Yum-o.

Lol it's ok. I've accepted that my taste buds are eclectic and rebellious. More warm key lime pie for me. :P

How exactly does one warm up key lime pie without it melting?  I will say my MIL makes a mean key lime pie and I'll eat that right after she's assembled it whether or not she's had a chance to chill it yet.
