my SIL fed my 8 mon old niece hotdogs..

she posted a picture on fb of my cutie patootie niece sitting in her high chair chowing down on some mac and cheese with cut up hot dogs.
i want to yell at her.

    I would do more than yell. Mac & cheese, an 8 month old and hot dogs are not a good combination.

    i usually dont care how others raise their kids but this is just one of those things that bother me. my niece doesnt have a chance of eating healthy ever if shes already getting hotdogs.

    If this were my LO then I'd be having an heartattack, she's just now 16mnths and starting to chew, at 8mnths she was my little anaconda, swallowing things whole, but if you niece is chewing I don't see what the problem is.

    can any of you show me research stating a child is able to make healthy food choices despite being raised in an environment where they are given the opposite? huh? no? didnt think so.
    im anti hot dog bc they are fucking disgusting and barely food. however, the pieces were huge for an 8 month old, hence the wanting to yell.
