Who watched last night...?

Brienne was totally cracking me up with her facial expressions. Thank goodness for her and Podrick providing some comic relief!

Oh Littlefinger, you creepy bastard! I hope someone makes you "fly"...although I think it's more likely to be Liza or Robin.

Dany is kind of boring me...I hope she regains some cool points soon.

I think this ep should be called Holy Fucking Shit. Littlefinger is up to his porny eyebrows in this war! I really underestimated him. And shit totally went down at Craster's. I couldn't look, but I saw enough. To recap that scene: whew, uh-oh, yes, uh, yikes, yes, WHOA, holy shit, barf, Jon!!

WTF indeed! Talk about out of the frying pan into the fire for Sansa. That whole castle is #creepyasfuck. Robin, aunt-crazy bitch & uncle creeper. Never thought I'd say this, but Sansa might be better off with the Lannisters. I was very surprised by Cersie warming up to Margery but I guess when her ass and money are on the line, she knows who's ass to kiss.

I feel sad for Sansa. I don't think she'd be better off at King's Landing because Cersei is out for blood. Ugh poor girl! She's so helpless. At first I didn't like her because she was prissy but now it's just S A D.

I think Cersei is definitely sad at what kind of person her son turned into, how she lost control of him, and that led to his death, but I don't think she was being kind towards Margery, just protecting her own interests, like you said.

The conversation between Cersei and Tywin was interesting to me, because I felt like Tywin could have yelled at any point- "but if Tywin hadn't killed Joffrey, we wouldn't be able to control the throne!" (Even though we know it wasn't Tywin.) Cersei must recognize this as well which is why her conversation with Margery was so interesting to me.
I'm glad Dany is going back. I was wondering how she was going to "liberate" all these people and they were just going to pick up, rebuild the pieces in a different way then they had before. Plus, I was getting kinda bored with her storyline as well.
We still don't know what Littlefinger's motive is with Sansa, right? Or did I miss it? @everyone
I agree the Bran story is boring and needs to get somewhere already.

An epic play at that. Her husband's death was largely blamed on the Lannisters to hide the incest. This event brought Ned to Kings Landing to stand in as hand of the king, and forced Cersei's hand in killing Robert to keep him from finding out, starting the war for the throne and separating the Starks forever!

I really liked that line as well! That whole conversation between the two of them was great. Is anyone else wondering if she is going to drop The Hound from her list? He's saved her ass plenty of times.

I think that he did know that Ned Stark would go to Robert B about the Lannisters. He had to. Why have her write the letter then? He wanted the Starks at odds with the Lannisters.

He was going to see it all play out. Ned gets asked to be the Hand of the King. At that time, Petyr was Master of Coin in King Roebrt Baratheon's small council.

He didn't just watch, Petyr betrayed Ned in confronting Cersei, which ended with Ned sentenced for treason. He was supposed to be banished but...you know, things happen.

I forget what his name is but his rival guy, the bald castrated guy... I feel like he's been under the radar lately. He was always in Little Finger's business (and little finger in his) I wonder if he is going to call notice to where Lord Little Finger's been.

It can't be love. The supposed love of his life is dead. It can't be money because everyone says he is rich. It has to be power or revenge. He can't sit on the throne himself. He is low born. But his actions started this war. So there must be something here that he wants? It can't be just revenge. He consistently comes out ahead.

Maybe he just enjoys the game and how he can manipulate so many people. He is a low borne, but through all of his actions, look how much he has "achieved." No one suspects much from him, so he just keeps playing the puppet master and gaining little by little here and there. I think he just likes playing the game.

What about exposing the Lannisters? He probably didn't account for King Robert dying and Joffrey ruling, so he split until he found a way to kill Joffrey. Maybe he wants a specific family to rule or maybe something bigger in terms of power.?

Little finger is highborn. He's just from a minor, insignificant house. But he's still better than a knight for a marriage.

Sansa is viewed as a potential key to the North, hence everyone wants her. A male child of herd would have a potential claim to Winterfell, although we know bran and rickon are alive.

I thought Littlefinger arranged all of this and married Lysa so he could become a "real" lord, with a castle. It was just one more way for him to get power, although I still wonder about his end goal. Does he want to be king or just be rich and powerful? Also, there really wouldn't be a story if it weren't for him. Littlefinger getting Lysa to kill Jon Arryn started everything--Robert going North to find Ned, etc...

I was hoping Jon and Bran would be reunited in this week's episode. I knew they likely wouldn't be, but was still hoping for it. One of the most tragic things to me is how almost all the Stark kids are alive, but are not together.
