I just dropped a chip on the floor and kicked it under the table so I wouldn't step on it later. Yep, done bending over to pick up things until this little guy is out!
I dropped my keys as I was getting into my car at Target the other day and my first instinct was to kick them under the car and live without them. Bending over is the worst.
The other day in Target I noticed they have those reachy-grabby pincher things in the aisle with the outdoor toys/bubbles/etc. I totally should have grabbed one! Bending over is brutal these days.
All of sudden bending over is the worst! No matter how I try to do it, it freaking hurts. Chasing after a toddler who continuously drops things has become very inconvenient.

Yes! I was just saying I need to buy one of those things.
There's been a wrapper underneath my desk at work for about a week now. I'm thinking I should just name it because it certainly isn't going anywhere any time soon!
Today at work I went to put a tissue box in the recycle bin in my classroom and of course missed! Then, to make it even better, I automatically said "well, shit" under my breath. Yes, I had a full classroom of 11th graders that now think I'm soooo cool for cursing. I am THAT teacher and not so happy about it. But, on the bright side of things, one of my students did jump up and get it for me so I didn't have to deal with the torture of bending over!
I teach 1st grade & after my kids have watched me drop things, look at them, & walk away, they now offer to pick them up for me without hesitating. So sweet
I am a super serious lurker. I did post when I first found out I was pregnant. I'm a terrible contributor, I never seem to say anything interesting!! But girls, THANK YOU. I thought I was being a weenie about bending over. It seems like such a small thing to relate to but seriously! Somehow throughout my whole pregnancy if I've had a question I have found the answer here!
I'm there with you! Every time I do I have to hold my breath. I get so light headed once I'm back up. For get it! The dog will get the food and the kids can get the rest. Lol
Toes are a wonderful invention for picking things up :-) and if toes cant get it its gets left until im on the floor for an important job then im pretty much down there till i need the loo
I work at a daycare...not bending over is not an option. It is torture. I can barely bend over and when I do, a child takes a swing at another child's privates and I get in trouble for improper supervision when I was helping them clean up their blocks. I can hardly get up from the floor and I am working until my due date. YAY ME!!!!!
When I drop things my hubby's like "it's dead to you, huh?" Ummm yup! Though sometimes he's lazy and doesn't pick it up either! We' re a good match :-p
I use my toes to pick up everything. Monkey feet FTW

Thankfully my husband and coworker will pick up almost anything for me. If it's food one of the Aussies will grab it up. I try using my toes to pick up clothes now but get killer foot cramps doing it. Suuuucks. We still got at least another 2mos of this ladies some of you almost 3!
...how depressing.

Bending over is the worst. If I squat, it hurts my hips. If I bend at the waist, my stomach acid is forced up into my throat. I'm so glad that when I'm at home, DS likes to help mommy. He'll pick things up and hand them to me.
I either leave it for the dogs (food only of course) or grab it with my toes. If it's nothing important, I'll just leave it on the floor and blame it on the toddler for making a mess. DH could care less what the house looks like, so I'm pretty much off the hook. It's my conscience that makes me pick things up most of the time.
ETA: food not good - stupid autocorrect!!! Food is always the right answer.
I don't mind squatting down, but bending from the sitting position is just cruel

Someone had dropped a cardigan on the floor of the bathroom by the public toilet at work. Rather than pick it up and turn it in to lost and found, I just went to another stall.
im a server so when im at work most things i drop just get ignored like i have no idea i just did that. unless of course its in the dining room then i have to go full squat and hope i can get back up lol
Re: I am DONE bending over until this baby is out!
Bending over is the worst.
I just dropped my hemorrhoid pads on the floor, behind the pedestal sink. That was a bitch. I had no choice.

The older kids are getting really good at helping me pick up and I use the toe method all the time! I've been living in flip flops for a month now!
I can't help but make a small grunting noise when I try to bend over or squat to pick things up!! Not very lady like!!
I have Post-It pads sitting on the floor under my work desk I am putting off picking up..
O:-)

Count me in the "using the older child to pick-up what mommy drops" club!
I am so happy that I no longer have to wear socks and shoes!!! Yay for slip on sandals/flip flops!!!
Laundry that doesn't go on hangers gets tossed in drawers I can pull open with my toes only...
Stopped wearing socks and have been throwing dresses on as much as possible.
Edit-got to long...man I could go on and on...
