1st time was in the hospital when I was induced at 38.5 weeks due to high blood pressure.
2nd time was at 38.5 weeks about 20 mins. after my husband walked in the door returning from a week long work trip. It was a steady trickle that increased over 15 minutes getting ready for the 10 minute drive to the hospital and when I stepped out of the car at the hospital I had the huge gush. Walked in to L&D triage laughing hysterically while trying to cover my backside with my pre-registration papers that hadn't been sent in advance. What's crazy was when the nurse asked me to pee in a cup to make sure I didn't pee myself after she's clearly seen fluid gushing with each contraction when she examined me.
I'm on #3 now and 37.5 weeks and just crossing my fingers it doesn't happen walking down the street or while I'm home alone with the 2 kids.
