    This is why men have such a strong sex drive and natural instinct to procreate. Because if it was as complicated for them as it is for us I'm pretty sure they couldn't do it lol. Can you imagine them having to have a period every month? Bahahaha

    i never lost one with my DS#1, if i did i did not notice it.  I actually googled after the warning.  Gross, but now i know what to look for.

    Just lost mine. I'm glad for this thread because I would have been freaking out, with DD I lost it about 3 hours into labor. So this definitely would have freaked me out haha

    With DS, I totally googled when I lost mine. Water broke 3 days later at 38 weeks. 

    eta: ?   

    But Ive had people ask about the bloody show?  Is this the BS and MP the same thing?  If not whats the difference?

    Haven't had the strongest stomach this week so I do not plan on googling to find the answer this time.

    @gregsgurl81304 - I believe a BS is a mP with some blood in it... So it will be have a pink hue or something? But NOT bright red bleeding, that is not good and needs medical attention immediately. If I'm wrong, please someone correct me!

    According to my ob, the bloody show is a sign that labor will begin within 24-48 hours. I woke up with mine with ds one morning (39 weeks) and was admitted to l&d that evening. (I woke up feeling strong menstrual like cramps, went to the bathroom and saw I was bleeding, when it didn't stop After a few hours I called the ob)

    It was different than mucus plug. Mine was just spotting- like a light period. I had already lost clumps of my mp over the previous couple of weeks.
