Medela Warranty question

Has anyone had luck getting a new motor for their Medela PISA after the 1 year warranty is up?  I've heard people mention the company has sent a whole new unit if they have issues, but not sure if that's within the warranty period or not.  

Mine is from 2012(used 7 months) and I'm at 6 months with baby #2- the suction is either great or really low.  I've done the regular maintenance- replaced membranes, checked tubing, etc.  I'd prob not buy a new pump now but not quite ready to stop nursing- oh, and I EP, so it's the pump or nothing here!

    I don't know about expired warranty, but they may be able to troubleshoot with you over the phone. I just called them last week when my pump broke and they were very helpful. I wound up being sent a new pump since I was under warranty.

    TTC since April 2011. DH Dx MFI in February 2012. BFP #1: 7.16.12. MMC dx: 8.22.12, D&C 8.28.12, TTC Again November 2012. DH Varicocele repair November 2012; Repeat SA showed "dramatic" improvement February 2013 (awesome!)
    BFP #2: 3.26.13, EDC: 12.7.13. Anya born December 9th, 2013!

    Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
    Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)
