I announced my BFP in the 2WW thread about a week ago. I asked to hang around until I had beta's confirmed because this wasn't the first time I've been through this. I had beta's drawn a few days after that and they only showed 20. I took a HPT at home and it was stark white negative on Mon. An hour later I went in for betas and an hour after I got home I began to bleed pretty heavily. Beta's came back today at 5. Guess this just wasn't our month either.
If some of you ladies who have unfortunately been through multiple losses can help me make sure I cover all my bases that would be awesome. My OB does want me to come in and have repeat loss testing done. Is there anything I should ask specifically? My LP's are fine, I don't seem to have any spotting...not sure why this keeps happening (obviously, or I'd fix it). No genetic histories on either side. DH is a smoker and I am a former smoker if that matters, quit awhile ago.
After my CP in Jan he didn't make us TTA at all, but after my MMC we TTA for 3 months per his orders. They ruled this as a blighted ovum, even though it seemed a lot like a chemical pregnancy to me. Only difference was in Jan I took one test that was barely positive, by that night it was negative and I was bleeding. This time I took a test at 9 dpo, got BFP's that were getting darker until 14 dpo. No test 15 dpo, 16 dpo was stark white. So I was thinking it was another chemical?
Thanks for all your help ladies. I've been MIA for a bit because this one hit me really, really hard and I needed some time. DH hasn't been very helpful, I don't think he knows what to say and he just wants to pretend it never happened and move on to the next month. Which is fine, but I need a minute. I'm so glad I have you ladies here to talk to. After a few losses people run out of things to say. The whole, "It will happen..." starts to seem like, "eh, maybe it won't, what should I say now?" Thanks again
:x
Edited because I didn't proofread. I'm sorry! Words are hard and stuff.
There's a pretty good sticky at the top of the TTCAL board that has a lot of info on RPL testing. What we're doing right now is running a karyotpe on both H and I, my doc also ran a A1c, APAs, TSH, and Prolactin. Clotting factors are also something I've heard people have done. We're also going to do the CD3 and the 7DPO testing this month, the 7DPO will be able to tell us more about my progesterone levels, which might be an issue for my losses. My doc is also going ahead and running a SA for H.
Since in my case my doctor now think there's something up with my tubes, so I'll be having a HSG in the next couple of months.

@pookieson - I'm so sorry to hear this. It sounds like your DH is just coping the way he knows best. I hope you've got a lot of supportive people in your life right now who can help you deal with this. Hoping that you also get the answers you're looking for sooner rather than later. xoxo.
I am so, so sorry. I think you should absolutely take your "moment" to mentally deal with this. It isn't something that never happened. I'm sorry you aren't getting more support at home (even though I'm sure your husband means well). ((hugs))

@divinemsbee thank you! I will go check that out. I never thought progesterone could be an issue because I have normal LP's. I guess it's better to cover all of my bases. I think my OB is also an RE...at least that is what his website says. He is supposed to call back. So many questions, and it's going to take so long for some answers. Thanks again.
I'm sorry this happened to you...I don't have any advice regarding the doctor and I know that hearing "keep your chin up, it will happen eventually" doesn't help a lot of the time because you do start to wonder "what if it doesn't?" All I can say is that I'm sorry you're going through this and I hope that every day things get a little better until you get your take home baby.
I'm so sorry for your loss. After my 4th loss, I was really upset and my husband never even said a word. It was the quickest loss that I've had so far so I guess he just never got happy but it pissed me off because he expected me to just jump back quickly and I didn't. It's so different for men and women.
I've always heard a CP is a miscarriage before a heartbeat, but I'm not positive. I honestly hate the term cp, it makes it sound like it's not real. Good luck on the testing hopefully they can figure something out. Take care of yourself.
@pintobean39 That is pretty much exactly how I feel! Why can't DH just know I don't need him to shrink me, I just need him to be here and supportive and not go about his business like it's just another day. I know men and women are very different when it comes to these things, but holy crap I am so angry/annoyed/hurt by him right now. Not because of anything he is doing, but by everything he is not doing. I'm glad to hear I'm not alone in this and it's definitely a man thing not just a my H being insensitive and oblivious thing.
Thanks for all the love ladies, I really, really appreciate it. ((creepy internet hugs)) back to all of you!
