Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: No real complaints or concerns right now. EWCM today - I propositioned DH for this evening Just in time because I've been too sick with headaches (sinuses I think) the past few days to do anything.
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? We probably have some sort of out of the house date where it is just the two of us at least twice a month? But we are pretty much together 4-5 nights a week - either going out together with friends or watching tv together. At one point in time, we made date night mandatory because we let our lives really take us away from each other and we hardly saw each other. But that doesn't happen too much anymore.
G'morning ladies... since I canif t really confirm that I have or haven't O'd yet, I'll jump in in this one more time.
Month/Cycle: 1 (2 if i count last cycle NTNP)
CD: 12 I'm taking a shot in the dark and thinking I may have O'd yesterday (or today even?). I normally O around CD 14-15ish, but ive already had 2-3 days of fertile CM with some O pains yesterday that seem to be tapering off now. Seems a bit early to be O, but ehh..whatever. I guess we'll see.
What are you doing to get KU?: charting CM, green tea, PNV, HIO.
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: If I did O yesterday (or even today) it would appear our timing was pretty good. I've had watery CM since CD9,and we hit CD9 and 11. CM is pretty scarce in general this month, so we'll see how it pans out.
GTKY: We usually get a date night about once a month or so. It works for us right now, as we dont have any family local to watch DS for free, so we're stuck paying a sitter...which adds up. We started implementing date night when DS was around 8 months old. Nothing crazy, its just nice to just go out, have a nice dinner and a few cocktails and catch up.
@humblebee2 I would definitely start job searching now. You never know how long it will take to find a job, and the fact that you are currently employed will make it better all around and lessen the 'OMG I will soon be unemployed, I need a job' stress. Plus, you can be pickier about the job that is best suited for your needs with a longer search time.
@NittanyMama - Looking at your chart, I would say that you haven't O'd this month. How long have you been on the Metformin?
@Clagore I've been on it continuously since I delivered DS in Oct. 2011. I was on it 4 months prior to getting pregnant with him, stayed on it through first tri, stopped for 2 and 3 tri, and then restarted after delivery. I was on 1500mg when I got pregnant with him. After having him, met messed up my stomach so I was only taking 500mg but I thought that was ok because it was "working". By that I mean it kept my cycles around 30-40 days and I was cool with that, MUCH better than unmedicated. Two months ago I bumped up to 1000mg. Maybe I need to go higher still? Sigh...
What are you doing to get KU?: PNV, temping, humping
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: I THINK I may have O'd yesterday. Time will tell. Also thinking I may add OPKs to the mix next month. Maybe less sex but more perfectly timed will be better.
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? Our whole life is one big date night, aside from when we go to work. We've intentionally tried to design our life so it feels like we are on vacation all the time. We've achieved pretty close to that!

Aug-2014: All initial testing went well, waiting for 2015 for possible IUI.
What are you doing to get KU?: Still NTNP for this cycle and the next. PNVs. Eating better/working out/more water--- most days anyway. I am still trying to get myself motivated for this.
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: I had really really amazing sex last night and I just wanted to share that.
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? Not as often as we probably would like, but when we do get to have a night alone together, we really enjoy it. We have actually been better at scheduling them since DS turned 3 in September. We've really been focusing on strengthening our marriage since December, for no reason other than we really wanted to.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: I forgot to take my opk this morning. Oops. I will try to proposition DH tonight anyway.
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? Not very often. We have a 2 year old so date night involves a babysitter. Thankfully my sister is pretty good about watching her when she has time off from work. We go out once every couple months? We do spend time together on weekends once the kid goes to bed though.
@MelOzark - It is normal to feel like everyone in the world is getting pregnant without trying now that you are trying, but remember, you probably don't know the whole story for most of them, and you are still new to the game yourself. Hang in there.
@NittanyMama - I don't see O yet. The days FF indicates were potential O days are based on your prior cycles/typical cycles if you have not charted many. Since you passed them with O, it did not change any to actual O days. Since I have really unusual cycles FF gives me 2 weeks+ of "potential" O days. If there are no problems with your temping method, no temperature shift may mean you haven't O'd yet, or if AF starts before a shift, that you had an anovulatory cycle.
@Sassmaster33 - I don't think you O'd yet. I just don't see a sustained temperature shift.
@humblebee2 - I would definitely start looking now. If what you find isn't the right fit you don't have to take it as you still have a job, but you won't know what options are out there until you start looking. Sorry you have to deal with your company up for sale, but at least you were smart enough to Google, so you have some forewarning.
What are you doing to get KU?: waiting for AF to leave for now....
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: Just annoyed with all the spotting last month and don't know if I should call the doc for it
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? We don't have date nights very often...maybe once every 4-6 weeks? We both work full time, so we like to take advantage and spend as much time with DS on the weekends as we can. We usually have "date nights" in our own backyard after he goes to bed...we will drink wine and have a fire in the chiminea and just chat.

Thanks @YellowBag. I just thought it was odd that they went from solid teal (which they had been for a week) to outlined light green today. I'm holding onto a tiny sliver of hope for a temp spike in the next day or two, but I'm pretty much figuring it was an anovulatory cycle. Dammit.
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: None really today. Had some wine last night which helped me feel better about CD1, and I'm looking forward to getting results for H's SA so at least we will know what's going on. We kind of had it hanging over our heads from the beginning of TTC that if we reached 6 months he was supposed to get that done, so I think we've both had some anticipatory fear.
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? We don't have "official" date nights really, except for holidays, birthdays, etc. We probably go out once a week, and we like to cook together on Sundays.
What are you doing to get KU?: BBT, PNV, green tea, sex as soon as AF leaves
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: This is prob. the last real day of AF. Hey, I should shave my legs. I am so lazy about leg shaving and I never do during AF. Or like, the winter.
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why?
We made a big plan to do Friday nights last fall and it lasted I think 3 weeks. So very intermittently, mostly when there is a movie we want to see out. But we try to hang out at least some each day.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: Chart was all over last month. Hope to see more of a pattern this month.
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? Never. We just don't have time or a babysitter.
What are you doing to get KU?: Femara CD 3-7, OPKS, temping and charting, SEX!, cm.
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: Got another high temp today so definitely thinking I O'd during the night Sunday (had +opk Sunday night and Monday morning). Waiting out here until I get crosshairs. Chart stalk appreciated!! (Link at bottom of post)
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? We try to have one at least once a month but definitely like to do them more often than not. We have always done them and we feel it's so important to go on them especially with having our son now. We have a better marriage when we can just be husband and wife for a night on a date.
What are you doing to get KU?: PNV, Femara, Follistim, acupuncture, IUI... Trying the green tea thing to see if that makes a difference. Also drinking pomegranate juice, exercising, and watching my carbs.
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/etc: YAY! I'm finally off the bench and back in the game!! I'd been waiting for my period for too damn long. I had an unnaturally long LP unless my temping wasn't accurate... Anyway, I'm very pleased to be able to get back at it. I'm going in for my CD 3 (sorta 4 but whatever) blood work and ultrasound on Thursday. I have my next acupuncture appointment on Monday. It'll be a lot of driving to and from my RE/acupuncturist's office but I'm hoping in the end it will all be worth it. As you can see, I'm being sort of BSC and trying every trick of the trade. I really, really need this cycle to count. I'll kick myself in the ass if I don't do everything I can to get KTFU. I only want to blame rotten luck if this doesn't work out this time around.
Nice to be able to update again I probably won't be here daily but I'll update when I know follie sizes and IUI timing - in case anyone's curious.
What are you doing to get KU?: PNV, OPKs, BBT, more water, no diet soda
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: FF is not drunk, my body hates me! All the signs temp wise point to me O-ing on CD9 but I'm staying here to be certain because I haven't been sleeping well, like up every few hours. Also I'm doing a 30 day swim challenge, so I don't trust my CM... I'm gonna pray I'm not out but it's starting to look like I am.
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? We don't schedule it because we are pretty free when he's home! Once there's a LO we do plan on implementing it just bc all of our friends swear by it! Idk what it will look like though but right now if we want to go out, we go out!
@humblebee2 I agree with everyone else, plus depending on new job, you may have to be there x-number of months before maternity leave kicks in! My sister switched jobs at month 5 of her 2nd pregnancy and didn't get paid for any of her leave which cut it to a month rather than 3 because that's all they could afford.
@humblebee2 I'd say start looking now if it won't stress you out too much. I stayed in my current job because I wanted to take advantage of the FMLA 6 mos off (unpaid) once I got pregnant, but low and behold here I am starting month 11 - I could have started a new job during all that time! So, now I'm going to take a new job (nothing 100% yet, still waiting) and if I get pregnant fantastic, I'll figure it out then, if not, then I have more time to adjust to the new job. Long story short- that's why I think you should start looking now, especially if you know you'll have to leave your job eventually anyway. We all want to be pregnant, but it's (mostly) out of our control when that happens so I say live your life in the meantime. Good luck!

@caitlindenise It looks like you may have O'd, but I'd wait out another day or two to confirm with high temps. I thought maybe I did but then had a temp drop this morning, so it wasn't enough of a dip then rise.
Thanks for taking a look and the advice!!! Really appreciate it!!!
I have a question for the pros. My Wondfo opk was close to positive yesterday but not quite. I saw some of you say it never fully goes positive. Here's the thing, I had the tiniest spot of EWCM once yesterday. Today, there has been a small amount of watery cm and a very negative opk, but my temp dropped this morning. So, am I about to ovulate, did I ovulate? I'm so confused!

So FX this is it for me and for all you ladies as well!
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? We probably have date night like once a month where we actually go out to dinner and a movie. I love the idea of date nights and would like to do them more often, but we are trying to save up as much as we can before having LOs. Plus, we recently bought/renovated a home so we need to build up our savings again. We hang out every night though and eat dinner together, then watch a show or go on a walk or something.

Dammit. I'm replying to myself because I looked up a message board post from 2011 and I was only taking 1000mg a day when I got pregnant with DS. I don't know why I thought it was 1500. So I'm at the dose I was at last time, but it might not be working. This makes me sad.

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why?
Pretty often, we go out together at least once a week.I guess because we don't have kids yet we don't really have to schedule it much. I like date nights because it gives us a chance to talk and be with each other without getting distracted by chores or tv or whatever else is going on in the house.
What are you doing to get KU?: BBT/FF charting, PNV, Preseed when needed, HIO
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: My OPKs are getting darker, but I don't think I O'd last cycle until CD 42, so I'm cautiously optimistic it will happen anytime soon. On another side note, I had some hot steamy sex last night, so I'm grinning today :x
GTKY: My DH and I have Sunday and Mondays off together (and I see him for 30 secs. as I am crawling into bed after work the other days of the week), so we usually go out to dinner on those nights off and run errands together. I count those as our date nights. On a super special date night, we dress up and go someplace nice and maybe buy a bottle of champagne to get us liquored up back at home (that happens a few times/year).

I haven't had as much O pain this cycle so I hope that isn't bad. If I do O, I'm excited about our timing and that we used preseed. I laid for about 15 mins after we did it too. I know that's not necessary, but in my mind I did it for my BFP cycle so I wanted to try it again.
GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why?
We have "date nights" several nights a week. I call them that because it's just the two of us. We cook together and eat together every night unless I'm working, and we watch tv together after. It's our ritual. We actually go out to dinner maybe once every other week. We aren't big movie watchers so we usually don't go to movies.

CD: 15
What are you doing to get KU?: Femara CD 3-7, OPKS, temping and charting, SEX!, cm.
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: Got another high temp today so definitely thinking I O'd during the night Sunday (had +opk Sunday night and Monday morning). Waiting out here until I get crosshairs. Chart stalk appreciated!! (Link at bottom of post)

We try to have one at least once a month but definitely like to do them more often than not. We have always done them and we feel it's so important to go on them especially with having our son now. We have a better marriage when we can just be husband and wife for a night on a date.

BFP! 17 Aug 2014 | EDD 26 April 15
Month/Cycle: 8/5
CD: 2
Nice to be able to update again
I probably won't be here daily but I'll update when I know follie sizes and IUI timing - in case anyone's curious.
We dont have "date nights" often enough.
