Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: Finally! An almost positive opk! Not quite there but with my cramps and cm, I think O is coming.

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? True date nights? Rarely... once every few months?

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? We don't have planned date nights but we usually wind up going out twice a week

What are you doing to get KU?: Temping, Checking CM, OPK's (once AF leaves), PNV's, drinking all the water and having all the sex. (DH wants to HIO daily during my FW).

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: Just wishing we would have our house inspection report already. The inspector texted me this morning saying that he'll have the report to me by 12noon today. He's been super swamped and wanted to keep me in the loop. I just want the report so A) the listing agent can show the sellers the mold and get it checked out by a professional mold person and

so I can see what else is written besides the mold and water heater (<--is an easy fix and I'm sure it's inexpensive too but I'm not 100% worried about that...I'm more worried about the damn mold).

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? DH and I used to have weekly date nights (Friday nights after dropping DS at his fathers). We would go walk around Lowes/Home Depot (I know, so romantic) and look at stuff that we could do to our yard/garden/house. That slowly diminished just after the wedding as we didn't need a 'lets get out of the house and away from wedding planning' night. Now, we're focused on this house purchase and haven't had a date night in a little over a month.

Hopefully once we move, we'll have a date night to explore our new town.

What are you doing to get KU? Temping, OPK monitor, checking CM, lots of sex.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc? Everyone around me is getting pregnant and NOT even "trying". Oh and my cycle has been regular since I was 11, now all of a sudden now that I am TTC it is all out of whack.

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? A few times a month we will go out to dinner or even just hang out with some friends. We even just enjoy sitting in the yard with a nice fire and a blanket.

What are you doing to get KU?: temping, CM, PNV, metformin, preseed, sex

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: I think FF is as confused as I am. I've had no temp spike really but FF is now saying every day last week was my potential O day. (Last week used to be solid teal but now they are all outlined green). I feel like my chart makes no sense and I'm getting too close to the end of my cycle (average is 33 days but it varies). Maybe I suck at charting? Maybe I didn't O? Do you ALWAYS see a temp spike with O?

GTKY: We kind of suck at date nights. We were trying for once a month, but we don't always plan well enough in advance and then don't have anyone to watch Gavin. We like to have movies and popcorn after he goes to bed sometimes, that sort of feels like a date? We should get out more though, it feels like we fall into a rut of just doing housework and taking care of G and it's nice to be us again sometimes.

What are you doing to get KU?: Green tea, PNV, acupuncture

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: nothing yet. I'm hoping acupuncture will help regulate my recent long cycles.

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? We probably go out 1-2 times a week, but I'm not sure I'd call it a date night. It's more like 'too lazy to cook' night.

@GrahamSchneider - Woohoo for the +opk! Have all the sex!

@NeverTooManyShoes - I love the idea of homemade pizza and drinks on Fridays. I may need to think about implementing that!

@NittanyMama - Any idea what caused the low temp on CD16? Also, it looks maybe you just O'd/are about to O? I have to remember to chart stalk after a few more days of temps!

Thanks Lulu -- I have no clue about the super low temp. I made notes that day that it was first 96.06 and I rechecked because it was so low and got 96.86. I wasn't sure what to do with the numbers so I kept the first one because that's what I usually do. I'm trying to be patient to see the pattern (first month charting) but I feel a little lost/disappointed.

Are you temping orally or vaginally? I started temping orally and it was really difficult for me to see any consistent pattern so I started temping vaginally and it's made all the difference for me.

Are you temping orally or vaginally? I started temping orally and it was really difficult for me to see any consistent pattern so I started temping vaginally and it's made all the difference for me.

It's only my first month (of charting) and I started orally. I read you shouldn't switch methods in the middle of a cycle so maybe next month I'll try vaginally. Thanks again!

@nevertoomanyshoes - That sounds like a lovely evening with DH. Many times homemade pizza is better than that at a restaurant.

@Nittanymama - I absolutely think a night with a movie and some popcorn can count as a date. I think just being alone, doing the same thing and enjoying eachother's company is awesome! I also recommend temping vaginally next cycle. I never temped orally since I sleep with my mouth open, but vaginally can give a much clearer picture.

@lulu783 - We have those times every now and then too - sometimes cooking is too much work.

@sassmaster33 - I'm new to charting too, so I'm not the best person to answer your question - but I hope the next few days of temps will give you a better idea about what's going on.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: I just want to get through this ovulation so I can see my first fully formed chart.

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? Once every couple of months. We go out once or twice a week, but and 'official date' doesn't happen too often. I figure when a lo comes along, we'll try to implement one since we won't be going out just because as much

What are you doing to get KU?: OPK, Temping, PNV, iron supplement, less pop more water, HIO

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: Slept like shit last night. Tossed and turned from midnight til about 7 am. Despite all that my temp didn't fluctuate nearly as much as I was expecting so I'm gonna go ahead and keep today's temp.

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? Until we get a baby we have 3 weekends a month to ourselves when my girls go to their dads, so we try to get out and do stuff as often as we can on those weekends, even if it's just going out to dinner.

@MrsMCBMar2014 we are buying a house too and it's been SUCH a pain in the ass. We were supposed to be closing tomorrow, and then this past Friday it got pushed back to this coming Friday. Rawr. I just wanna be done. I feel your pain, hopefully the rest of the process goes quickly for you!

Wow. Our sellers wanted to close the end of May and we said no due to the fact that we want my son to finish the school year. It would be ridiculous for us to travel to our present town for my son to get the bus, then drive to work, then leave work to go back to the old house to pick DS up and then home. TOO much. They agreed to June 20th so it should hopefully all work out.

Hey, can I ask another newbie, slightly tmi question... If you have sex and H didn't finish for whatever reason, do you log that as BD in FF? I haven't been but not sure if that's even good info to keep track of...?

Make a note. H and I have had it happen, I made a note of it, but didn't record it as sex.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: Nope. Just waiting for fertile CM to show up.

GTKY: We don't really have a good babysitter system, so not often. So, maybe once every few months? The last time was a few weeks ago when we went out for dinner for my birthday, but we were home by 9:30 or 10, I think. I don't remember the last time before that.

What are you doing to get KU?: Waiting out AF, going to start OPK this month.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: My temp tanked today...like 97.3 is my norm and I was 96.5 this morning. I had a cup of sleepytime tea before bed and a small glass of wine with dinner, but I'm wondering if it's b/c my hubby put the temp down to 72 in the house last night, and I woke up freezing. Never had a temp that low.

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? We try to do date night once a week, but my AF job believes in normal office hours and his does not... He's usually too busy or too tired. I think we've just always done it though, as a chance to get out of the house together.

@humblebee2 I'm in a similar situation for different reasons. I love my job and the hours, but I get zero benefits and have the worst 2 bosses I've ever had. They are seriously sadistic. I don't know if I can handle the stress while I'm preggo. I've considered putting off TTC until I find a new job, but how do you stop once you start and are excited? I think I'm going to start hitting the job market hard and hope I find one soon, while still TTCing. I wish you the best of luck...job woes are no fun and super stressful.

@englandxo - I mostly mobile bump so I never see siggys. I LOVE your superhero!

Month/Cycle: 10/8AL

CD: 11

What are you doing to get KU?: BBT (see rant), CM, Metformin, Mucinex, OPK, RE appt later this week.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: This is the 2nd time in 4 days I have forgotten to temp. I am being monitored by ultrasound and will mostly likely be doing IUI, but still. Must remember!!

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? Usually 2-3 times a month. My parents live with us and are really good about keeping the kids and encouraging us to spend one on one time together.

We spend a lot of time together and go out to eat regularly, but only rarely plan something in advance. Once we have kids we may plan a regular date night, but we see plenty of each other now without much planning.

What are you doing to get KU?: preseed, opk, digital CBE ovulation tests, green tea, baby asprin, metformin and temping

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks/Etc.: another blinky smiley. Opk was darker but not positive. Hoping wed or Thursday.

GTKY: How often do you and your SO/DH have date nights? When did you start implementing date nights and why? We almost never have date nights. Probably only once every 2 months. It's hard to go out when you have a child at home. It's easier just to throw on pajamas and watch a movie on the couch.
