I'm disgusted, not only by her actions, but by the way she flaunted what she did like she was proud. And that second link about her MIL just accentuates what type of person she is.

I was pretty pissed about the second link. Not really sure how people could defend her being an asshole about her MIL not buying her a $1000 glider when they bought all the other furniture, and then getting pissed at someone who called her out on it. Sorry, but if any of you all throw that bratty princess shit out there, it's getting called out! (Not that anyone would bc our board is awesome

@jshrop‌ that is exactly what I thought when is read it!! how are these people defending her? I couldn't wrap my mind around it- she sounded like a nightmare. also I looked at some of her other discussions and she annoyed me and totally rubbed me the wrong way.

I wasn't here when mods were picked/voted/assigned so I'm not sure but yes I would definitely be more hesitant to call one of them out. but in that case I probably wouldn't have said anything I would have just kept my mouth shut because I didn't agree at all with what she was saying and wouldn't have defended her.

I don't blame a single person for donating or being upset with what she did it's despicable. if they did pick her to be a mod (if that's how it works) then as soon as she started posting stuff I would have regretted my decision. like I said, I just didn't get a good vibe from her for whatever reason.

@BrightEyes112‌ and @LilNunz1‌ are the shit in my book and I don't think if ever need to call them out on bullshit

And I agree with @jshrop & @stephross88 - I lurked on the two posts and can't believe anyone defended that entitled whore's rant about the glider. Who needs a $1000 glider anyway?! If you can afford it, awesome; if you can't, there are alternatives. I did see that our @snuff9861 called her out on the first post - way to represent J14!

@gatormom2014 the site that was used is called youcaring.com so I believe she did not have access to actual credit card numbers, just access to the funds. I don't really know how it works, which is a fail on my part.

I should've known better because I work at a non-profit and we receive donations a few ways, a couple of which go directly into our bank account. If someone were relying on us to do something specific with that money, it would be all about trust. There is another way people donate where they give to a site and the site sends us a check, and I guess that's what I thought was going to happen here: donation may have paid for the gift or went straight to a charity.

Wow! Words can't begin to express my outrage at those two posts. On a positive note, I greatly appreciate the ladies on this board and how things are run.

That whole glider rant had me shaking my head. Really?!? Good bless all the trusting members that donated and the mother that lost her child.

Like pp mentioned, this stuff happens way more often than you think. I've been on boards where money was loaned for rent because she was going to be put out with her kids (a very private and closed board, nonetheless), people created false identities/kids/miscarriages, and even one girl who eventually admitted to writing a thesis based on all the information she gathered on the board. It's really sad. I generally don't trust collections anymore and limit my personal information.

@WorldsBestDH‌ Forgive me, I didn't read the entire thread on your BMB. This has probably already been suggested, but have any of you tried refuting the credit card charges used to make these donations? Were the donations made through Paypal? If so, Paypal has a very liberal "return" policy and generally always side with whomever sent the money. Just a thought.
