This name is not my husband's style at all, but I've been really liking this name lately. Apparently it is a very common boy's name in Australia, but as far as I know it is virtually unheard of in the US. It is a Scottish name and was originally used to describe Viking invaders. I think it would be a cool nod to my Norwegian ancestry.  Probably wouldn't want to use it as a FN, but I like it as a middle. WDYT?

    I think there are nicer Norwegian names though.

    I love it and we considered it for twin A if they were a boy. But A is a girl. Our boy baby is Griffin so I liked how it flowed with that.

    I love Lachlan! I will be honest... I thought it was Welsh! I wouldn't say it's unheard of. I know a ten yr old Lachlan with a little sister named Bronwen.
