So, the pedi has been concerned about the size of S's noggin for quite sometime. They have been checking it once a month or so. Last friday she had to have a CT scan. I got the call from the pedi today that the radiologist saw some fluid on her brain. We don't know how much or where. He spoke to a pediatric neurosurgeon in Dallas and we are being sent there for a MRI and consult as soon as they can book the appointment, hopefully this week. According to the neurosurgeon it could just be that the radiologist is not familiar with reading baby CTs. I'm trying not to get too worked up about it but I can't help but get a little worried. With everything that she has been through already, it just breaks my heart thinking that she may be facing another battle, just when she has been doing so well. We aren't telling anyone else right now. I don't want our families to get worried unless we know something. Please keep my sweet sweet Savannah in your thoughts and prayers.
ETA: They weren't able to get us in this week. Our appointment is set for the 28th, but luckily DH is off that day too. So, at least I won't have to deal with it alone. She'll be having a sedated MRI, which I was hoping to avoid but it's not possible. Thanks for all of your well wishes. I don't know how I would have made it through everything without your support. A13 has been a rock during a many rough times. I'll let you all know how it goes. Thanks ladies!
