What is killings is that they won't allow me into the nicu to feed her. I just tried pumping since my milk came in but I suck at pumping and only got 7 ounces. I don't want her bottle fed and we really are trying to avoid formula. They promised not to wake her so I am giving my boobs a rest and going to try pumping again.

I am devastated. I know I haven't done my full birth story yet but we may have a serious medical malpractice case on our hands. I am falling apart mentally and emotionally and just want to be at home with my sweet baby girl.

@saisongbird‌ holy crap, malpractice? Hang in there, mama. I hope everything's ok and that you're able to see your princess asap!

Up again for Dominic's second MOTN feeding, he had a 2.5 stretch of sleep. Was hoping for at least 3 hours. Oh well.

I'm supposed to go back to work next Monday. But I'm terrified if he keeps waking up this often. I'll be a damn zombie at work. Ugh.

Up feeding Lily. She has great MOTn stretches of sleep. Her last feeding was at 10:30pm and she started this one at 3am. However, during the day, she wants to eat almost every two hours. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm grateful for the sleep at night, but sometimes I need a break during the day.

My kid slept over 7 hrs straight. I tried to dream feed but she kind of woke up so I changed her, gave her another ounce of formula (she only ate 2 during the dream feed) and now she's passed out on my chest. Problem is I don't think I'll be able to go back to sleep. It's kinda close to when I normally get up.

@saisongbird‌ sorry you're having a rough time. 7oz is awesome! The most I ever got from pumping was 4 and it only happened once. My normal was 2-3. Her stomach is so small right now that 7oz will be enough for a few feeds!

@saisongbird‌ hugs! I know how you feel when it comes to feeling like a hostage at the hospital! I went through that too and ended up in ER so I had to have the NICU nurses bottle feed breastmilk. Hang in there, eventually it'll be a distant memory

Can't wait to read your birth story.. I just finished being MIA on the bump so I'm trying to catch up now lol

Finally got some sleep after the last feed. DD just woke up. I did wake up about an hour ago though thinking I was feeding her only to find the cat on top of me. Hoping she will go down until about 10 now so sick momma can get some more rest.

@kls33145‌ I got a baby brezza as a shower gift from my mom . That things a life saver ! I love it . My only complaint is about every other day it gets clogged and won't make the proper amount , so you have to clean. It out . But I would defiantly take that over mixing a bottle at 2 a.m . Plus it's cute when I'm making the bottle it's like Harper knows what the noise is and gets pretty excited .

Ugh, I started typing a response hours ago but never stayed awake long enough to finish it. The twins had a pretty low-key night and DH was able to bottle-feed one which helped me get a little more sleep. Unfortunately DS1 woke up screaming twice due to some growing pains so I was up with him too.

Lo slept from 10:30-6. He is doing great but I am still tired. Maybe I'm not used to this much bed contact.

@saisongbird‌ It sucks that you are still going through so much. Fingers crossed that you and your beautiful girl get out of the hospital soon!! The fact that you might have a malpractice case on your hands is scary. Looking forward to hearing your birth story once you are able.

Not much sleep for me. I have a very restless baby on my hands. Not crying but lots of arm flaling and kicking and noise making. She's only stopping for a bit when I put her on my chest

Yes. We are hitting this stage. Eating less and staying awake more. Took quite awhile to go back to sleep with both overnight feedings. I hope we get to nap today.
